🇬🇧 Lyrics in English (U.K.):
Yes, who marches in the enemy's land
and sings the Devil's song?
A rifleman stands at the coastline of Oder
And softly hums:
We whistle marching forwards,
And the whole world may
bless or curse us,
as they want.
(Chorus)
Where we are, is the front
And the devil laughs along:
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
We fight for Germany
for his freedom, for his honour,
We'll give the enemy no rest.
How far the distances may be,
We'll soon find combat.
Determined, always ready to fight,
attack at day and at night.
Grasps the rifles firmly and boldly
Storming the enemy positions!
Screaming “Hurrah” we face the death,
The enemy surrenders and scatters.
(Chorus)
Where we are is the front
And the Devil laughs to it:
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
We fight for Germany
For his freedom, for his honour,
We'll give the enemy no rest
The Death has a hard hand
Often he like the best -
But we held out, the wall stood firm,
The flood of enemy crashed before us.
Go forward, paratroopers!
Go forward the heroes of the German land,
Go forward, comrades,
In the same uniform of honour.
(Chorus)
Where we are is the front
And the Devil laughs along:
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
We fight for Germany
For his freedom, for his honour,
We'll give the enemy no rest.
🇪🇸 Letra en español:
Sí, ¿Quién marcha en el frente enemigo,
y canta la canción del diablo?
Un soldado a orillas de Oder
murmura suavemente:
Silbamos avanzando hacia delante,
y el mundo entero puede
maldecirnos o alabarnos,
a como le dé lugar.
(Estribillo)
Dondequiera que estemos, siempre vamos hacia delante
Y el diablo ríe además:
Ja, ja, ja, ja, ja.
Luchamos por Alemania,
por su honor, por su libertad.
No le daremos descanso al enemigo.
Por muy lejana que sean las distancias,
pronto encontramos la batalla.
Decididos, siempre listos para la lucha,
atacando día y noche.
Portando el fusil sin miedo,
asaltamos la posición enemiga.
Gritando “hurra” nos enfrentamos a la muerte,
el enemigo se rinde y se escabuye.
(Estribillo)
(Estribillo)
Dondequiera que estemos, siempre vamos hacia delante
Y el diablo se ríe además:
Ja, ja, ja, ja, ja.
Luchamos por Alemania,
por su honor, por su libertad.
No le daremos descanso al enemigo.
Like when you're playing Hoi4 and it suddenly occurs to you to take the approach of opposing Hitler's path.
By far my favorite version of this song
Holy shit, that man in the picture is the Empire Restoration in Hoi4's Oppose Hitler path!
Yes. He was Marschall August von Mackensen. He believed in the restoration of the German monarchy and rejected the Republic.
this mfer nearly went 100 years old
YEAH ITS HIM
Deutsches Kaiserreich ist mein lieber Weg des Deutschlands in dem HOI4)
This song’s not actually from WW1 and is a rather new song used by the Bundeswehr (modern German military). The actual predecessor to the Teufelslied is called "Lied der Legion Condor" from the Spanish civil war
I didn't knew that. Thanks for the information. I'll remake this video in the future probably. Thanks!!!
ITs NOT??? WOW?! The eurodance beats behind ...i thought that would be the the normal beat of the german army... thanks a lot. So...syntesizer beats over the baseline = not authentical? Wohoooo. -.-
There's also a predecessor to "Lied der Legion Condor" called "Freikorps Marschiert", which was used by the Freikorps during the German revolution
@@english__mapper "Freikorps Marschiert" is a song made by Legionary Choir. There was no predecessors to "Lied der Legion Condor".
@@hirdmann Oh ok. I didn't realise that
the best military song of the world
Ja
THIS GOES HARD ASF
I know. I heard this song years ago. The original video was erased, but I could not handle the fact that no other TH-camr uploaded this specific version, so I downloaded the audio from SoundCloud and then made a video myself! ❤
Thanks for upload this version
I hope you enjoyed it
THIS IS VERY COOL BRO!!! YOU BEST!

Great performance 😊
i dont know what the song is saying but sounds dope, good video.
You can listen to the lyrics in the description. Thanks for the support.
An instrumental version would be cool too.
I agree. However, I think that the strong and firm German chants make it more intimidating and memorable!
@@valentinourrea I agree, But there hasn’t been a lot of instrumentals with clear audio like this.
Can I use this song in a video is that ok. I wanted to ask permission first
of course!
@@valentinourrea I made the video if you Wana check it out

+
Cómo 451 lo hubiera querido

From Svalbard Islands to Denmark to Bohemia to Creta Island

Indeed.
🇺🇦🖤🤍❤🇩🇪
this is not a ww1 song this is a ww2 german song
I did some research, and you're right. I shall do a remake of this video, but I got to use the least amount of Nazi simbology as possible in order to have my video submitted
Quite the dated flag, the modern German flag would be accurate
I choose the dated flag because of the historical resemblance, but I'll consider it if I do remake the video. Thanks!!!
@@tzarvogtccxii7033 Freikorps Marschiet in feindesland is a fictional song and the only recording is done by a slav you can tell by the accent
Made a terrible song actually go hard
@OMaRosky I know
