There have been interesting comments from native German speakers that point out that Panzermensch more likely means cyborg than someone associated with a tank. I was wondering about that myself, since some of the lines don't really make sense when you're talking about tanks but do make sense when you're talking about "armored" or "iron" people (different translation of Panzermensch).
As a native German. I think the word play in this song is intended. Panzer means armor , and Tank. But not allways.In some contexts armor is PANZERUNG and amored Human, would be GEPANZERTERMENSCH german is a complex language .
