Yknow, I'm actually starting to want Crazy Dave in smash. For one, we don't really have a character that could act like his moveset could possibly be. One with less moves for combos but instead for moving and placing sentry plants. For two, it can elaborate on some of the in game mechanics. Lets say Down B is the shovel to remove plants. It'll do do damage on its own, but lets say instead of just removing plants, it can pick them up! Then you'll decide if you wanna delete them, place them back down, or the third option: using them while they're on the shovel. Maybe use the Wall-nut as a forward shield or use the peashooter as a Megaman jab type attack. This is what I mean by elaborate.
We've seen PVZ GW2, it can copy the abilities of plants and each plant have only 3 moves (ex. Peashooter, chilli bean bomb, movement and jump boost and the temporary gatling pea)
Neighborville is coming to the switch somewhere around March and people are predicting that the new smash character will be in March you know what this means.... PvZ has a chance in smash!

This is how PVZ got added in It started when Villager planted a Peashooter that he bought from Crazy Dave, Steve with Zombie costume appeared, with Mario. Villager flinched and runned away, Villager just planted a peashooter remember? He shoots Steve and Mario pea Steve and Mario runned away, Crazy Dave was seen patting on Villager *Crazy Dave plants into the battle*
Crazy Dave would definitely be a zoner that's terrible up close, similar to the gameplay of PvZ. I imagine his Neutral B could be a roulette of seeds, while Down B could plant a seed/dig up a plant. Some other fun move ideas: -Down tilt: Crazy Dave steps on a rake, dealing damage to whoever is in front of him -Side B: Crazy Dave spawns a lawn mower that goes in a straight line. It can't be stopped or damaged. -Jab: Crazy Dave uses the mallet from the whack a zombie minigame -Final Smash: Crazy Dave hits the opponent with Penny, traveling through various past installments of Smash as the fabric of time rips around them, before returning to the present day and launching them.
I saw one of the other PvZ videos recommended to me and I was like “I wonder if they did the final battle music” and I was not disappointed. You my friend have gained a subscriber
I've always wanted CRAZY DAVE from Plants vs Zombies as a playable character in Smash. He could use each iconic plant as an adapted attack. Jabs could be done by Bonk Choy, side smash could be done by Chomper, Up Smash by the tall spiky cactus, down smash could be done by Dave making a Snapdragon shoot fire to the floor and the flames extending to its sides in a considerable range covering both sides completely, somewhat like Megaman's down smash but in a more horizontal way like in the real PvZ game. He could use his head frying pan to make side tilts that will also act as a reflector. Grabs could be done by some plant vines like a tether grab that can also be use to grab the ledge. Recovery could be the blowing clover (Blover) and it could work like King K. Rool's Up B but without ending in a helpless state. Side B could be a Watermelon attack with an arc trajectory and charging it will make you shoot frozen watermelons that will slow down the opponent's speed a couple of seconds. Neutral B could be a Pea shooter shot with a straight trajectory and if you hold the B button it could shoot Ice peas that will slow down enemy speed for a couple of seconds also. Down B could plant a random plant in the stage and you would need to adapt your strategy depending on the plant that spawns to get the most benefit from it. Anything could appear from it, explosive potatoes, pea shooters, cacti, Cherry Bombs, explosive peppers, etc. A great variety of explosive plants but also stationary shooting plants that could be planted to shoot from a strategical place of the stage like for 30 seconds while you use it to your advantage to pressure the opponent enhancing the "tower defense" essence from which the character comes from. All in all, could be a very creative and really fun character to play with and had been one of my most wanted characters in Smash ever. But sadly, it belongs to EA so it's not so likely that he will be joining Smash anytime soon.

The Screen cuts to black again, and Zomboss' laugh from PvZ: Garden Warfare is heard in the background. Then... Doctor Zomboss appears and destroys his competition as the screen shows 'Doctor Zomboss blasts in!', and 1:30 plays!
I love Wario looking in bug eyed disbelief at Crazy Dave, like "Hey, I fart as one of my specials and even I think this guy is weirder and grosser than me."

This is the best zomboss remix I’ve ever heard, if the made PvZ 3 this should be the zomboss final boss theme and the zombot would look different but close to the original.
I don't really remember my first time fighting Zomboss that well, but i think it was something like: Me: huh? no zombies? *Stomp* *Stomp* Me: WHAT?! (Ready, Set, PLANT!) Me: How do I fight that?! Me (later when the head comes down): Oh its ON! As silly as PVZ is, this final fight was epic, and a legendary part of VG Culture

The DLC map would be epic. Imagine this, the location of the Smash fight on Crazy Dave's roof, who was theoretically the player's neighbor. It's night, but purple clouds illuminate the surroundings, letting you see that the entire neighborhood fell. Only in the center, in the distance, you can see the last house that resists, and you can see the final battle between Zomboss and the player's plants, on top of the roof, with different effects such as the Zomboss robot throwing fire/ice balls and the truck, and the plants counterattacking with watermelons, jalapenos, etc.

Jack-in-the-box Zombie=Explodes either instantly or after a few seconds have passed, damages all fighters within the blast
Bungee Zombie=grabs any player at random and will attempt to bring them into the sky to kill (must button mash to break free)
Catapult Zombie=Will lob basketballs randomly at the stage, any player hit will take small damage, and very minor knockback
These codec calls and guidance are perfect

It started when Villager planted a Peashooter that he bought from Crazy Dave, Steve with Zombie costume appeared, with Mario. Villager flinched and runned away, Villager just planted a peashooter remember? He shoots Steve and Mario pea Steve and Mario runned away, Crazy Dave was seen patting on Villager

Crazy Dave would definitely be a zoner that's terrible up close, similar to the gameplay of PvZ. I imagine his Neutral B could be a roulette of seeds, while Down B could plant a seed/dig up a plant.
Some other fun move ideas:
-Down tilt: Crazy Dave steps on a rake, dealing damage to whoever is in front of him
-Side B: Crazy Dave spawns a lawn mower that goes in a straight line. It can't be stopped or damaged.
-Jab: Crazy Dave uses the mallet from the whack a zombie minigame
-Final Smash: Crazy Dave hits the opponent with Penny, traveling through various past installments of Smash as the fabric of time rips around them, before returning to the present day and launching them.
This will never happen. That being said, I really, really wish it could.

I've always wanted CRAZY DAVE from Plants vs Zombies as a playable character in Smash.
He could use each iconic plant as an adapted attack. Jabs could be done by Bonk Choy, side smash could be done by Chomper, Up Smash by the tall spiky cactus, down smash could be done by Dave making a Snapdragon shoot fire to the floor and the flames extending to its sides in a considerable range covering both sides completely, somewhat like Megaman's down smash but in a more horizontal way like in the real PvZ game. He could use his head frying pan to make side tilts that will also act as a reflector. Grabs could be done by some plant vines like a tether grab that can also be use to grab the ledge. Recovery could be the blowing clover (Blover) and it could work like King K. Rool's Up B but without ending in a helpless state.
Side B could be a Watermelon attack with an arc trajectory and charging it will make you shoot frozen watermelons that will slow down the opponent's speed a couple of seconds.
Neutral B could be a Pea shooter shot with a straight trajectory and if you hold the B button it could shoot Ice peas that will slow down enemy speed for a couple of seconds also.
Down B could plant a random plant in the stage and you would need to adapt your strategy depending on the plant that spawns to get the most benefit from it. Anything could appear from it, explosive potatoes, pea shooters, cacti, Cherry Bombs, explosive peppers, etc. A great variety of explosive plants but also stationary shooting plants that could be planted to shoot from a strategical place of the stage like for 30 seconds while you use it to your advantage to pressure the opponent enhancing the "tower defense" essence from which the character comes from. All in all, could be a very creative and really fun character to play with and had been one of my most wanted characters in Smash ever. But sadly, it belongs to EA so it's not so likely that he will be joining Smash anytime soon.

Stage: backyard battleground
Spirits: sunflower - heals every 20 seconds (5% or 10hp)
Chomper: becomes heavier
Buckethead zombie: metal protection for first 30% or 45HP
Penny: faster attack animations by 3.5%
New assist trophy: cactus - buries underground, when comes out shoots darts and comes back down, touching it hurts you
Peashooters journey: Battle for the backyard, final boss is the robot purple dude
Edit: noticed that I called cactus also a spirit so I fixed it

The DLC map would be epic.
Imagine this, the location of the Smash fight on Crazy Dave's roof, who was theoretically the player's neighbor.
It's night, but purple clouds illuminate the surroundings, letting you see that the entire neighborhood fell.
Only in the center, in the distance, you can see the last house that resists, and you can see the final battle between Zomboss and the player's plants, on top of the roof, with different effects such as the Zomboss robot throwing fire/ice balls and the truck, and the plants counterattacking with watermelons, jalapenos, etc.
