    Can Lustre be applied on top of an existing coating or it’s only for use on bare paint?

    Nova is an Australian based brand correct? What made you decide to use and carry it?

      Great question and thank you for asking! You are correct, it is an Australian based brand. In our shop, we are constantly searching for products that provide the perfect balance of user-friendliness and performance. Nv was receiving demand for the US market and reached out to us for the opportunity to carry the line. After nearly a year of product testing, we found the entire lineup to be phenomenal. We actually just launched the US-based website if you want to learn more about the ethos of the brand and the full lineup.

    Just to be clear after you polish with morph you dont use a IPA wipedown? Just straight into a coating?

    • @parksdetailing7991
      @parksdetailing7991  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the comment.
      HutchDesigns that is correct! You want to wait roughly an hour to let the Morph cure if you are using a ceramic coating. No IPA/panel wipe down necessary. If you are using Lustre or Jet you can go straight away, no cure time needed!

      @@parksdetailing7991 cool! Thanks for the reply. One more thing if I used a soft foam pad like a griots black finishing pad would it lower the cutting for the polish? I dont have to many defects just a mild clean up and coating

    • @parksdetailing7991
      @parksdetailing7991  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HutchDesigns that would be an ideal combination for a simple clean up prior to installing a coating. Let us know what you think and if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Can luster be applied on a graphene ceramic coating then topped with jet?

    • @parksdetailing7991
      @parksdetailing7991  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, Lustre can be applied over a ceramic coating. However it should not be applied onto a fresh coating application.

    if you are going to use a graphene sealer would Morph be a good first step

    • @parksdetailing7991

      Wayne Grosvenor we have not specifically tried this, but have no reason to believe that it wouldn’t work well! Which graphene product specifically are you wanting to top it with?

    Great explanation....As a top up after applying Nova with Lustre after 6 months...can you keep it maintained by then using Lustre, Jet and then boost?

    • @parksdetailing7991
      @parksdetailing7991  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching and for your input! Yes, you can absolutely do that. You can maintain the Morph/Lustre combination with the following regiments: Lustre/Jet/Boost/, Lustre/Boost, Jet/Boost or Simply Boost. It all depends on your time allotment and goals. The first combination will yield the longest term protection and gloss, but any of the combinations I mentioned will work perfectly to maintain the Morph/Lustre combination.

    Hey, do you recommend that all-in one product to me? My car has a soft paint and its color is black! Has some light scratches, swirls and hologram! I want to get rid of them but I'm not a professional! Thank you

    • @parksdetailing7991
      @parksdetailing7991  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a wonderful product for that. We use it in the shop frequently for finishing down delicate black paintwork. A Red Buff & Shine URO foam pad works great in combination with Morph for that. Morph is great for both the enthusiast detailer as well as the seasoned professional. Lustre will also help fill in some of the minor defects!

      @@parksdetailing7991 Thanks a lot! I appreciate of your help! Red Buff & Shine URO foam pad is better than the black one?I thought the black is softer than the red one and easier to working with if you're not professioner!

    • @parksdetailing7991
      @parksdetailing7991  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MiamiNight01 The red pad is very user-friendly. It will give you a little bit more defect removal than a black waxing pad and finishes down equally as nice in the majority of cases. It is worth buying one to do a test spot with each pad!

    LOL! It's pronounced "Luster". That's just how we weird Aussies spell it. Strange, I know.
