Sandy is a greedy b... even more than the Robber himself. They want you to pay full price , not save 30+ % by ccu'ing. This is the event they ended themself, they showed EVERYBODY what they are really about. Its great to see the grift finally coming to an end, april next year its over.
@@Zi-TekGaming So many options for origin but yesterday I knew it was gonna be either the 400i or 350r because of their price. I just dont get their marketing team at all, I feel like they could be making more money if they just made players feel like they were getting a good deal.
I have a couple CCUs that use the 400i as a starting point, from previous times (to Vanguard Sentinel), but I also already have the CCUs TO the 400i from previous chains. So another day of not spending money for me...
There are several cases where you buy an LTI package that includes low priced ships. It's been annoying that the low end rarely gets any discount sale attention. I have Pisces Expeditions and Pulses that I'm hoping to move up the chain reasonably economically.
I saw the previously leaked Paladin description in the hologram room on Anvil day, but they had a second Crucible as the holo place holder. So, I would fully expect to see that ship get announced as well tomorrow.
@ yeah, I kinda though all ships would have WBs on release but that didn’t happen with the Tac and I’m worried now about the Pally. I like the Paladin class of other games so they may sucker me in for the name alone
Looks like the last time to set up chains was last year, I just used a discount code and grabbed a 600i for credit. Hopefully the rework isn't another 2 years away.
I wonder what their sales actually look like. Seems like lots of people unhappy in comment sections, etc. Probably just milking everyone (the whales) for what they are worth before the finale, where the real "discounts" might be, lol. Happy to toss in a few bucks for something new, but also happy not giving any money at all if they are gonna be this damn stingy, haha. I am betting they are just building up though. Too many people with loose wallets out there.
Its no mystery about funding. ccugame.app/statistics/funding-dashboard I'm watching this to see if there is a noticeable change over last year. If so I must assume its due to lack of CCU sales.
The 400i warbond.. you pay 5 bucks for 10 year insurence basicly? so if you upgrade your starter pack with 6 or 24 month insurence maybe it´s worth but not if ur going with a LTI chain?
If you have LTI already adding a link just for 10yr insurance has no effect. But yes, if you have zero other 10yr insurance links in a chain all the way to the 400i, it would make sense to grab it if 10 yr insurance is something you want in the chain.
I have to agree with a lot of the other comments, the CCU game this year has been extremely lacking. As a result, I have spent waaayyy less then I spent last year.
Yeah this sentiment is nearly unanimous with folks that have been CCUing for more than 6 months. For noobies it hasnt been bad besides the low dollar CCUs but for us long timers, pretty bad.
@@Zi-TekGamingJoined 2022- past two years I always look forward to Invictus/IAE and log in daily. Usually get the LTI token and some warbonds. This year ? Unstable servers and bugs, mind bogglingly bad warbonds....logged in once, maybe check the website for warbonds, bought nothing. I'm not vehemently anti spending money or whatever - IAE has just given us very little enticing so far to do so.
@@Zi-TekGaming Yeah it's my main game I have over 6800 hours now. I pledged for the TAC not realizing the Polaris was actually purchasable (My Daughter actually brought it to my attention) so between that and my little Titan Starter Package it's 400 USD so not even halfway yet. Also makes it worse is I'm Canadian so add extra 40c on the dollar. :(
Thats a ton of time! Ouch on the CAD issue. Hoping the Grand Finale brings you some decent links to the Polaris. Thats a long chain no matter how you play it.
@@Zi-TekGaming Yeah exactly. I'll probably just save money and pay difference on upgrade either way I'll end up with one. The Galaxy looks so cool too!
Galaxy is deff in my hangar soon. Not sure which module will be installed but with as dgood as the Zeus ships are Im thinking the Galaxy will be great.
Whoever's part of the marketing and sales department at CIG are really making bad decisions lately. I haven't been tempted to buy anything this year regarding CCU's and the Intrepid is overpriced. I don't feel like I'm getting a single good deal for anything.
Inflation and CIG's bad decisions put alot of folks in the same place. We'll see in a couple days how much it affected them with all the whales still spending.
its like CIG know what CCU's i need and are avoiding them. imagine melting everything to get an 890 with store credit only for it to be soldout by time of melting o.0
You just knew they were gonna do this. CIG is done with good CCU chains apparently.
Seemingly, consideing IAE is supposed to be the best option to get some chains done this one has been....wanting...

That escalated quickly...

Totally. Like I mentioned in the vid, 300i WB would sell like hotcakes.

Its tough when its good to spend $0, but also not get what you were looking for.
Thanks for the update, fingers crossed for the finale…
Indeed!
CIG doesn't want your money anymore, at least it seems like it.
Certainly does seem that way

Wishing you, and everyone else, some luck on the lower end..really sub $100 ships.
Thank you sir!
You are welcome!
Thank you Zi o7
Welcome
I was really hoping for the 600i or 600 explorer as I was hoping to get one before the rework. Maybe we will get a good surprise for the finally.
Thats what I was expecting lol, also what I am hoping for.
I saw the previously leaked Paladin description in the hologram room on Anvil day, but they had a second Crucible as the holo place holder. So, I would fully expect to see that ship get announced as well tomorrow.
Yup, just not sure if there will be WB or WB/Concept CCU available. Thats what Im more interested in.
@ yeah, I kinda though all ships would have WBs on release but that didn’t happen with the Tac and I’m worried now about the Pally. I like the Paladin class of other games so they may sucker me in for the name alone
Dont fall for that lol. Lets see what they actually intend for it. But going off of how Pallies are so OP in DND I may fall for it too.
@ lol
I actually have the recent hurricane to ion WB atm so I'm good all around 🎉
That certainly works just as well

The 600i rework is one I havent heard about in a while. Last year was better imo for WB CCU.
Pretty sure at this point they're just throwing darts at a wall to decide what gets a Warbond now.
Its almost like they dont know there are some of us that follow this closely and could totally be used as free consultants...just saying
They know exactly where and what is needed to break chains. These are not willy nilly changes , they are carefull and deliberate.
i imagine many pledgers are going to get rid of their Corsairs due to the stupid change for 2 of its guns to one of the other seats
Yeah the nerfing of the corsair is BAD. Mine is moving towards the chopping block with my Ion.
We can expect more disappointment in coming days
Probably the case, hoping it's not with pure hopium
These deals been sucking this year, CIG must not want my $$$
Thats the way I look at it.
Im just waiting on anvil. Going to get me the f8.
That's a solid ship, just can't CCU to it 😢
I have a little rumor. Best in Show will be Paladin...
We'll see what actually happens with that. Still a mystery tbh.

They did the same with the Vulture and MIS. Chris must have developed an allergy to money from overexposure to yachts and 5 million dollar mansions.
ROFL

Not really sure what CIG is doing, CCU's had to make them a good chunk of change and instead of buying full ships I'm just not spending any money.
Same here. I am baffled by this year's IAE

We need more lowend ccus, the 100 would be great.
anything from the 100i to the Titan would be pretty amazing!
Sadly more warbonds that overlap

This is exactly what I said before they nerfed CCUS by adjusting prices that used to be for $5 upgrade now cost $10 that's as bad as MM ...
