In terms of who has the moral high ground in this case maybe you are right nobody has but I would argue that there is something to be said of the amount of money that are being invested in LIV golf by overpricing and hijacking players sending checks they can’t refuse because of the exorbitant amount of dollars and on the other hand accepting enormous economical loses the Saudis but gaining extreme power contra doing normal business deals as the Pga has done where profit is the guiding principle. That’s capitalism as we know it but what the Saudis is doing is something else and much more dangerous because of the power that comes with it where you don’t have to be accountable and can be indifferent to the effect you are causing. So I guess what I’m saying is that I’m biased because of two reasons - for one I can’t fathom that anybody would leave it to the suppressive Saudi regime to define golf going forward when you know their only goal is to sportwash and the other part is the format of play they have chosen and the principles that LIV golf live by - faster and louder!!!! Said with sarcasm- I can’t wait for the next LIV event with prepaid/overpaid millionaires who battle it out in a extremely tiring and demanding 54 holes of exhibition style golf. I hate historical context and legacy and a thing called glory. For me it’s all about money and even more money. Interesting Norman mentioned they're now informing PGA Tour players interested in jumping ship there's no room for you at LIV, which tells me there have been a lot of signings made ahead of the 2023 season that have yet to be announced, as the goal is to have two 48 player leagues - the LIV league and the relegation LIV league. That's at least 96+ players. I believe they're around 60 signed players now, as some have been relegated since the first LIV event. If you do the math this means they have commitments from another 36+ players. Way to go!

Greg is one of the GOAT in my country. He creates job, expand the market, breaks the PGA monopoly. A lot of international golfers are way much better than Tigerwoods, and other top PGA golfers, but they just do not have the same opportunity. Many examples like at Vijay, Ernie, Goosen, Woosnan, Cabrera and other international golfers. Golf is a great game and need a lot of luck.

There was only one golfer ever better than Tiger Woods. In his pomp he'd go off in a 150 player field as a 3/1 odds favourite and when he hit the first fairway 3/1 would be 12/5 and it was a runaway train until he was 1/100 on lol

If you are pro LIV, never whine about paying over the odds for petrol, as Australians have done for forty years now

I'm a BIG F1 fan, however comma! What about F1's involvement in countries with questionable histories ... Being a photographer, I equate the PGA to DSLR's, and LIV (54) to Mirrorless cameras ... wave of the future baby!

I love it that Norman said that the golfers are independent contractors and should be allowed to play where they feel they have the best opportunity. And the fact that LIV golf is going to improve opportunities for the women's game is huge!!

I dont care about golf , never played golf. But if LIV can do to golf what the UFC did to combat sports which is make the fan experience the priority...I just might start watching LIV !
