I work in a healing and counseling ministry - this song is the most effective ministry tool I have ever used. It literally heals people. It introduces people to the authentic person of Jesus in a way that they desperately need to see and comprehend. If you could see the sobbing people I see encountering Jesus through this song, I know that you would understand the magnitude of how it honors Jesus. Who is Jamie MacDonald? I hope we hear alot from her in years to come! So anointed!
I have been working through healing and the time I've spent with God listening to this song I've done a lot of weeping and healing. She's a minister to the broken and lost through this work of art. I'm blessed to have found this song and I'm glad I'm not alone. Thank you.
I have known Jamie for years. She truly is a woman of God. A very gentle soul. She has 2 albums She wrote and sang. She travels with Christian groups where religion is very restricted in order to bring God's love and word to dark places.

It’s a long, hard journey ,letting control and surrrendering every thing to Almighty God. That doesn’t make sense. I’m living a paradoxical life because fear is a deep seeded stumbling block. I know that’s sinful. It’s like sinking in quick sand. You know you have to get out to live, but if you try to do it yourself, it only makes it worse. You need Someone else who is stronger to come along and pull you out.
Today I gave a 5 hour video recorded interview to the police about my rape. Afterwards, one of the officers recommend I listen to this song ... Amen x

Omg … have no recollection of this video but just now got a notification saying someone commented on it … now … 17 years after he raped me … half my life time ago when I was 17! He made me pregnant and I lost my little girl to miscarriage. The cps said there was no evidence after a 3 YEAR investigation! I broke down 2 weeks ago but now I am ok and I am damn proud of myself ❤
After 13 years the man who sexually assulted me did it to another little girl. After years of holding it in and some of the ppl I told not believing me I was finally believed. I just gave the police my statement and This song has helped me heal. I can just cry to it knowing Jesus is taking care of me and everything like he always has. I feel strong through God despite some family that are mad at me because of this truth. I’m 24, happened to me when I was 10&11. I just told my parents 4 years ago & they do believe me. The shame it made me feel held me like a prisoner.
This song is beyond beautiful. The Holy Spirit gave them this song. So many are broken. So many want to rush through the pain and get to the next thing. And God is saying beloved, sit with me in your pain, let’s work through it together. I pray in Jesus name that each and every person listen and will choose to trust God. He has the best for us. People disappoint us. Expectations are rarely met, but God, gave us his beautiful Son Jesus. So that we could have peace, wholeness and healing. That’s what the blood was for.

Over 2 years ago, I was victimized by a false report of sexual assault by a disgruntled former patient in my medical practice. I lost my ability to practice medicine at that time and suffered intense shame, anxiety, and depression about my situation and the accusations. It's been difficult to share my story because i know so many people have been truly assaulted, and i assume others won't believe that someone would be heinous enough to falsify an accusation for their personal gain. After 26 months of mental torture, I was finally cleared and began the restoration process for my mind and my career, but the wounds are still very deep.
I heard this song during worship at a Christian conference last month, and I've been listening to it almost every day since then. It's such an encouragement. God is not in a rush, and He has time for my healing. 🙌
A dear friend gave me this song yesterday. I am in tears and really could use prayers 🙏

2:17 Dec.16,223. Our 25 yr old son, Christian passed suddenly in2021. Our world shattered. During my grief & therapy I finally talked about the mental/ physical & sexual assaults & harassments I endured while in the Army. I told no one of the assaults due to victim shaming & retaliation. Being a survivor of sexual assault doesn't make you broken. I love a lot of what's happening in this song - healing is from wounds, not being broken though. And there is no shame in being a survivor, that's something that gets put on us. Surviving abuse isn't shameful, you are surviving something that the other person should be ashamed of.

The Spirit of the living, God helped me to see that a “portion/version of my testimony” was not true. I was not a teenage mom by choice. It was something I just convinced myself of and spoke about as I matured and entered the work force.
However, that sexual encounter at 16 was without consent. I blocked that part out until this song was brought to me by a dear friend. HIS blood made me whole! He so gives beauty from ashes! 😢♥️
