    That open station 4wd JD 7330 w/ dual wheels planting corn was badass! I would've loved driving that for everything!

    The awesome 4440 was the last tractor my dad owned and I drove it to do his farming in 1975 when he had major back surgery. It is a great tractor.

    8110 would be mine. Ran one on a cart when I was in high school for a neighbor and have always wanted one since. Would be a nice size tractor to have around on the dairy. Great video as always.

    Excellent video. A 4230 with a cab and an open 5020 were the biggest tractors I drove when I worked on a farm years ago. I like the 70's, 80's and 90's John deere tractors the most. To me they have unbeatable stying to them. I love my 430 garden tractor because it sort of resembles the larger farm tractors. You're doing a very good job coming up with different contents for your videos. Thanks.

    I love those modern 8000s, we have a 2WD 8110 and two 2WD 8220s on our farm, all ran the mixer wagons. We have a whole fleet of 8000s on the farm, the powershift is so nice on them. Also had a 4440 way back before the 8000s

    If you have ever been to the farm machinery shows and shows like that you may have seem the Ls Tractor brand. We run 3 Ls Tractors on our farm and if you want to possibly come out and record us doing some hay we do about 5000 acres of hay with those tractors. We also have a Allis Chalmers 7050, Oliver 1650, And a John Deere 6600 combine. We have videos on our channel about the Ls Tractors. Ls Tractor makes all the smaller case and new holland tractors but if you want to possibly come out and record some of those tractors please reply!

    Great video, enjoyed the older iron in the field. I read the title as meaning 7520 articulated/7520 FWD or the 820 2cylinder/little 820 utility but there wouldn't be many. Wow, that Kuhn merger on the 8220 was really putting hay into a windrow! I know the 8345 was only planting corn but the difference in just how quiet the tractor was running was interesting (at $350,000 and all the computerization, it should speak English to the operator)

    • @johncooper6934
      @johncooper6934 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ran a pair of 8770s they were very good tractors
      I liked thecabs and the fuel use per acre
      You could back it off a bit and run on less fuel per acre than a tractor half the size and power.
      Thanks for bringing back old memories.

    When we bought our Manitoba farm in 95 it came with a line, a 4440, a 8440 and a 8640 plus a 8820 Titan II. The 8440 was my first articulated tractor and where it was clunky it was just a good ol work horse, till it's cylinder liners started moving (shady engine job by previous owner) then it was gone.

    great video. Hard to beat a 4440. Sorry for the off topic question, but you're in a unique situation to answer it. In all your filming travels how hard would you say it is to find IH 4166's? I'm looking for one and was shocked when both fastline and tractor house didn't have any except salvage. I'm sure one will turn up, but where'd they all go?

    I have an idea for your next compilation video. You should do tractors from different makes with the same model number. (i.e. JD 8870 and NH 8870) or do one of reuse of numbers within a brand (ex. 1970s 7520 and 2005 7520, 8430 4wd and 8430 mfwd, 4520 utility and 4520 row crop and so forth.)

The 9330 without the duals looks like it's to narrow to stay upright. I'm sure it's fine but it doesn't look like it has a big enough base. lol
