    you did not show as stated in your video title, all you have done is only applicable on same network even via the ES app, i.e no remote access

    I thank you so very much, young Sir.
    I have always had the ambition to set up a remotely accessible home Wireless Fidelity network (Personal Cloud). I've recently had a spanking new Nokia-style Alcatel-Lucent fibre optic modem installed from a local service provider here on my Caribbean island. It is equipped with both USB2 and USB3 ports at the back (one each) and I have a 2TB repository HDD populated with all my essentials.
    With your tutorial, I can confidently put things in place. The only issue is that I did not ask the installation techs for the Default GATEWAY address and Default USER NAME and PASSWORD, nor do I know if it was updated from Default to some other setting. I figured at the time it would be Plug & Play. I'm intent on contacting the Technician early today to request the data.
    Your video has been very helpful. Here's to your success at school and beyond. Gracias, Merçi, & Danke comrade.

      Yea, this also interesting me. As I figured out it has to be done via DDNS, but I still didn't found good tutorial for that. I setup TP-link DDNS and set domain name, but don't have idea how to connect from mobile device outside of home network. I'm using File Manager+

    • @steveyoung3130
      @steveyoung3130 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably since 1) USB 2.0 ports are slow and/or 2) wifi network is slow and/or 3) accessing ANYTHING on your home network, thru cellular networks, is ALWAYS slow. If ANY of the above applies, adding additional bottlenecks will only slow, an already slow file access path that much slower. Don't want to discourage you, but even with 5G cellar networks, you will likely still experience slow access speeds
