      She was a beautiful Woman who have a compassion of caring wholeheartedly...she may not know ,those nurses truly cared for her even when her family just left her there in hospital to be looked after by others...although for some ,it will be a released of physical pain if they decide for her to pass ,since she cannot speak or communicate ...Dying naturally by sickness or old age is because your time is up even accidents are unpredictable passing ...so euthanasia is neither accident or natural ..it was no different from taking someone's life....just my opinion not to offend others .

Advanced enough to decide for others what a good life is and what a bad life is. I've heard people in favor of abortion making similar claims. That it's good a poor woman can get an abortion, that saves her and the child from leading a hard life. As if a life with lots of money, is the only good life available. Who's to say how that woman felt about her life. Maybe given the choice, she would've chosen death. On the other hand, she may have been grateful for the life she led. Also keep in mind, that India has a large population and among those, there are a relatively large portion of uneducated people as well or people who do not receive proper education. This is a major factor that contributes to sexual assault cases.

      @Sunflowersarepretty 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      I'd point out that you don't have to be educated to respect other humans and know what's right from wrong. India has lots of other problems and it would be a long comment if I get into them and if I were to start it would be how women are portrayed in their movies and shows. Consent is totally out the window and creépy behaviors like stalking are romantized. Men only view women as objects and that's all. There needs to be a cultural reset and victim blaming has to stop. Any time if a girl is 🍇ed they blame her because she was dressed a certain way. If you don't view women as honorable human beings and that their consent matters you're failing as a human. No amount of degrees can fix this mindset. @@Vim-eo2zy

Not just 1970s, even in 2020s nearly 99% of SA cases go unreported due to social stigma, let alone sexual harrasment is a daily routine in the country. I think it’s important to recognise a few things in this case: 1) Aruna’s life support consisted of food and water. She apparently wasn’t fed through a feeding tube (photos shown here), so she must have swallowed the food that was put in her mouth; 2) Aruna responded to the nurses who cared for her in subtle ways that indicated that she had some consciousness of their presence and care. That is a significant sign of life; 3) Passive suicide is the withdrawal of food and water in order to hasten death. Dying from starvation is a painful and torturous experience. It is not compassionate. It is easy to look at someone like Aruna and make assumptions about their quality of life, but as long as a person is cared for and loved and can express some sense of others (some photos show her smiling) and life we need to be careful that we’re not projecting what we think we would feel in their place. The nurses showed kindness and loving care for Aruna; I’m impressed and thankful for that. May Aruna rest in peace.

    Urgh! Everytime I hear "India" in crime stories I already know it's going to be about women who were either SA'd, tortured, murdered & everything at the same time & it just makes me mad & sad at the same time. But I'm also glad that these cases are not just cases because they are making the women & everyone in their country fight for a better & safe working environment.

    the more i think about the current case in Kolkata i understand how the hospital authorities at rg kar are trying to potray it as in the heat of the moment crime by a unskilled labour/non medic ...much like the case here. So we need everyone here to help us voice our concerns and doubt about the shoddy investigation and cover up of case evidence.

    • @Rahul_Singh100
      @Rahul_Singh100 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah..Connect two completely unrelated incidents as same and on same pedestal.The amount of hype and false Information spread on RG Kar incident was Politically motivated and deliberate and appalling. There was no BIG Conspiracy like u gullible bengali numbnuts spewed around for passing ur boredom n to blame govt and the college authority for a crime not even they were responsible of. Inspite of the Kolkata police showing extreme efficiency in arresting the culprit within 12 hours, u numbnuts demanded CBI investigation over Rumours, false Information being peddled in social media. And CBI being a lapdog of Anti Bengal Central Govt tried its best to find anu clue to those conspiracy theories of yours, and when they couldnt find any, they blamed the lack of any such evidence as evidenced having been already removed... Wow. What a nice investigation agency. 😀 And i must say bengali numbnuts who sabotage, defame their own state and country r the biggest doomers of their own making. Dont whine why u people r jobless. No one likes to hire self sabotaging thakless clowns like u for a reason.

    My aunt worked in the same hospital and my mom once saw her. Even when I think about it now I... keep thinking. Why? Why would a man do this? Why her? The reality just slaps me sharp. The shock she suffered and the condition she was in just sends chills down my spine. We will never be able to understand no, don't understand her because we are simply not capable of doing so.

    What a sad case. Having worked and stayed in hospitals before, I think I can understand the views of both sides. There's no right or wrong decision to her living arrangements, I think, as people were only trying to do their best. The fault lay solely on her assailant.

    Falling in love is a wonderful feeling and so is being in love. But there is no such thing as forever in love, not because of the time frames but because people do stop loving each other. So, I prefer to wish you all "Forever Being Loved" because being loved is the best feeling of love that we actually wanted most and it involve more loves and sources you will get (from family, partner, friends, siblings, colleagues etc) .
    Even if anyone of them stop loving you, at least there are still other sources of love.
    Hope that Aruba is in a better place now. Out of pain and out of anymore suffering. 🙏

    Hi Megan,
    Ever since I have accidently stopped by at your channel, I am totally engaged with your stories and your style of presentation. I sense your sincerity upon victims in your delivery of stories and that impress me very much. You might also want to consider the Australian Crimes in your selection (which we have our fair share) and that would add deeper engagement with people from here like us. Anyway, best of luck with your work and hope you will continue this work into the future. Cheers, Rick

No advocating for her or at least visiting once in a while? It’s “too upsetting” is such a copout. So she’s stuck unable to live a normal life but seeing her is too hard for you? That’s selfish af.

    My belief is that only God has the right to call home a soul. Thankfully, the nurses at KEM Hospital never gave up on Aruna and I'll probably get hate replies for this next bit. I have an overwhelming gut feeling that Sohanthl was telling the truth. It absolutely does not justify what happened but just because it was only his word doesn't mean he was lying. It's a terrible tragedy for everyone involved.
