Hi, I'm thinking of bringing my kitty cat to Malaysia, and I'm cool with spending a few hundred bucks, but how much are we talking about here? If it's gonna be close to a grand, I might have to reconsider.
Wooooaahh... we're here in thailand with our german shepherd, and were considering malysia after, so glad to find your video. Looks like we're changing plans.. i cant imagine living with the nightmare of not being able to get Jacky out of us. So stupid
Thank you for this video! I was consider to move to Malaysia to live for short-term, but after hearing your story. That’s a lot of headache trying to get your dog out their country, and it doesn’t make any sense for them to make your dog to get another rabies. I watched your other a few months ago. Thank you for sharing your experience. I may have to consider South Korea or Japan instead of Malaysia. Can’t leave without the dog.
Whoa! Those are the exact 3 countries my son and I are going to in a month and we travel with a large service dog, a three-legged black labrador. We went to Europe with him and it was very good for the most part, except in some of the taxis. Idk in what order I'm visiting these 3 countries. I'm trying to find a second home as I no longer want to live in the US. Let's connect to share info if you're interested!
@@iamloved May I know about how much it cost you trying to get your dog out of Malaysia? I have done a good bit of research. It is difficult to find an ideal country in Asia to bring dogs there.
Hi. Currently living in mexico for 3 months from the US but going straight to Malaysia. If you don’t mind can you share what to do for exporting my dog out of Malaysia. We too will be staying 90 days visiting. My dog is actually a service animal for medical purposes and I can only imagine being ping-ponged back and forth and being told I can’t take my service dog with me out of Malaysia. Please share who you went through with their contact and what you had to do to buy Marley out.
Hi Marisa, so sorry you have to go through this! I’m on the other side of the table, Malaysian here moving to Canada. Would you be able to share this pet agent that you ended up using? It’s really difficult finding the right pet travel agent. 😢
@@iamlovedthank you so much. What about Woof Airlines? Did you happen to look into them? It's really expensive but our dog is very large and it might be the only way I can get him in
Thats why i wont take my dog there. Any international travel with a pet is a crapshoot. Not to mention if you have a large dog, they ride in subzero cargo

You’d have to look into it to know for sure, but ours was close to $800

It was brutal!!!! Happy travels!
Did you check how to get her to leave before you brought her?
Yes. We were misled unfortunately.

Thank you for the information. We are trying to get our dog from Indonesia -> Thailand -> Malaysia -> NZ. Should be fun lol.
Yikes! Here's hoping its an uneventful process. Enjoy!

I need to ask , did you put your dog in quarantine when you first come to Malaysia ?!
Yes. The quarantine is mandatory for pets.
this was awesome!!! it made me want to make my videos a little more like this so thanks for the inspiration !!! :)
I'm so glad!
We Wanne go to Nieuw-zeeland from Malaysia any tips/trics
Sorry no. You’d have to connect with the government agency from your country of departure. Good luck!
Is this the pet agency to get dog out of Malaysia ???
It says coming from Canada to Malaysia ???
Yes - to get her out of Malaysia.
So this was a problem because you were trying to go BACK to Canada? or is this the case moving any dog out of Malaysia to anywhere?
It sounds like it’s a problem taking the dog out of Malaysia period. Seems like a money grab… 🤷🏻♀️
Share the vet for someone else there. But if she just takes the sticker, why revax?
We didn’t revax. 😉 The sticker was all we needed.

I will not revax my dog if it’s them just trying to get money that’s rediculous and to put a dog through that is insane.

I hope it all works smoothly for you! Here’s the agent we used: www.equestriansupportservices.com/

It’s an adventure for sure!
Estate agents, Insurance agents, pet agents... all crawled out from the same hole.
Sounds like you’ve had some unpleasant experiences.
This is how this country works so sad and frustrating of their service and attitude 😔
It really was frustrating.
Oy Vey!
It was an ordeal
Good grief! What an ordeal!
It sure was
Note to self...don't take your dog to Malaysia....how scary and frustrating
It was a hassle for sure
