Well, I'm the biggest Martina McBride fan I own every CD she's ever released. Her voice has not been the same for a few years. It must be very hard for her because a lot of her songs are really tough physically to sing.
Wow. You know, it almost brings a tear to my eye to see people that you followed your whole life when age finally catches up to them and their voice is just a shadow of what it was. It's so sad. I love her so much, but I think she needs to hang it up and retire before it gets really ugly. Like Bon Jovi. Just have to know when to say you just can't do it anymore, and I think her voice just can't do it anymore.😪
Its one of those things, They are hard because She had the talent to make them that way and perform them for years. It is no negative that she can not belt them the same, its just a credit to her passion and love of the music to keep going!
I disagree. That's not it at all. There was no forgetting a backing try but rather her voice left her after an exhausted show and they needed to cue it up perhaps. There were a few other spots where high notes were missed which is a very live performance. Her voice was tiring but she kept on going. Vocals are so tempermental at times, unlike an instrument.
@@ClubhouseWorldAdventures there definitely is a plan to use it as the performer etc. would need to be aware. I don’t believe she ever planned to sing it live here. However, I would love to know what the thinking is behind it all because I’ve seen tracks pulled up mid-song this year for her (the final chorus of Independence Day). PS, I’m actually a big fan of hers, she has/had an incredible voice. I saw one of her live shows around the start of her “vocal issues” and she went completely out of tune on the Christmas songs, but she sang Anyway and Independence Day spectacularly (which are infinitely harder than Frosty The Snowman 😂)…and she wasn’t miming yet. I wonder if she is having hearing issues which are, in turn, causing vocal issues. I myself have difficulty hearing in large, loud spaces and without an in-ear I simply wouldn’t be able to have decent pitch. I just hope she’s getting the proper care and most of all, I hope she can rest if that’s what she needs!
I so agree. After seeing that what you pointed out, I'm starting believe that most of this performance was in the can. She maybe did a fraction of it. She just can't sing anymore. I love her to death, but her voice is gone. She needs to retire before it gets really ugly like. Did with Bon Jovi.
@@ClubhouseWorldAdventures it’s definitely on playback up to the head voice ad lib at the end after the belted and sustained “fly” 😊 The only question I’m still trying to figure out is when the tracks were recorded. She did not mime until very recently, so I don’t believe the tracks are that old unless they were pulled from other recorded live performances and the vocals isolated. The ‘Anyway’ track she’s using is very different from the record, with the sustained belt near the end (I think it’s 18 seconds on the record) broken up with a breath.
Regarding Independence Day, this is actually one of her better recent performances of it - I’m surprised she didn’t use a track here for any of it. It seems there is a track of the final chorus that has been used this year.
I have not seen her live in years. But her voice is AMAZING!!! I really think right now she has lost her voice and is straining it!! It is the worst thing to do. I feel for her!! 😔 I used to sing at the fair in our state years ago her songs, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, and more. I had to stop due to severe allergies. Now I have an autoimmune disease that affects my lungs my sinuses my ears and more. No joke I loose my voice SO much now. I can only sing when my voice is working properly now. It’s been very hard on me. I am sure it’s hard on her too!! It also always sounds better live.
