05-08 Ford F150 Gearshift Cable (Column Shift) Replacement

Today we have a 2007 Ford F150 that will not shift into gear. We found that the transmission had been replaced and we assume a bracket was missing, causing the cable to touch the exhaust manifold and break it. Not sure how common of a repair this is but nonetheless we walk you through the process of replacing it. This process should be the same on 2005 Ford F150, 2006 Ford F150, 2007 Ford F150, and 2008 Ford F150 with a column shift. F-150
