What's incredible about Newport Pagnell is they can still make this car for you from scratch. They're the only restoration shop where they can restore any Aston Martin - but also sell you a Valkyrie from their showroom. It's one of the few car manufacturers that can handle A-Z. Literally.
I find it so amazing when people create such shockingly beautiful cars for the sole purpose of racing them. This was also the case with the Lancia Stratos. The Delta Integrale, brilliant though it was as a racecar, was a bottom of the garden cut and shut job by comparison.
In 1984 I had the opportunity to buy a Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, the price was £75,000. I can still remember making the phone call, it was the first time I had called to a car phone. I decided to buy a 1970 DB6 Mk2. On reflection perhaps not one of my better decisions. But I'd still like one. An original.
1:27 to the highest standards - show wonky dashboard with screw sticking out in the middle. I can only presume that was factory Aston quality. As i had pleasure sitting in few aston martins from Fords era i can confirm that this is about right.

Absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful cars ever built.

Gorgeous. !! The prettiest Aston of them all.
Now that really has got some lines!
Incredible! There's a video of Adrian working on the body of this car.
Marvelous work.

You will need to dig deep!
I have one of these in my shop right now, same color, but set up for vintage racing. It's surprisingly small.
Es un clasico de aston martin muy bonito como siempre aston martin supera su ingieneria automotriz
That's in my dream garage
@1:28 "built over several years to the highest standards" - meanwhile the camera is focused on a rivet detached

Beautiful, but the modern Blaupunkt doesn’t fit!
Don't worry, we can remove that for you?
