imagine how expensive this place will be in 10 years if people keep coming here!
Good my house will be worth millions 😂😂
@@user-pv8ij6id5n But it would won’t matter if you can’t ever sell it. Equity when you think about it. It’s kinda of pointless doesn’t unless you are ready to get rid of your house.
We’re long past due for a major hurricane. Additionally, we are below sea level. Hurricanes historically happen every 10 years. So depending on how well these new houses are constructed, only time will tell.
Utilities are not bad, especially compared to northeastern states.
Agreed!
If you have a northern income, sure.
please dont move here
Why?
@@TheBillOlson we dont need any more condos, we dont need any more of our woodland areas destroyed, our road structure is not designed to facilitate the amount of traffic we have already (have you ever driven your car at rush hour anywhere in the greater charleston area?) We dont need more people, we have too many as it is. I grew up in NYC, and i see the greater charleston area becoming just like new york, not in my best interest. wanna come and visit? fine, just dont stay, we dont want you here (especially if you are a dumba$$ democrat\liberal scum). to sum it up, more people= more traffic, more garbage, more bull$hit the locals have to deal with.
We’re coming and you can’t stop us !!! 😂. Next summer baby! 🏝️
@@robertgill7061 come on! And let me know if I can help in any way!
@@robertgill7061 😆,we are actually buying our next door neighbors house/property (once his daughter decides what she wants to do) just so that we don't have any undesirable people moving close to us. As for our other neighbor to the left of us, she is a few acres away (we live out in the country), and she ain't selling so....we are trying to buy up as much of the area as possible (as the/if the opportunities present themselves) just for the sake of keeping others out.
Love visiting Charleston area. Visited in July and October. Not a fan of humidity and heat. I definitely could do a snowbird.
10/29/23 Viewing; loved it!
Builder's are sitting on so much unsold inventory 😮 its about to blowwww😢
Wanna bet?
@@TheBillOlson just looked at 750 + unsold homes by lennars in cane bay Summerville in S.C I will be searching other builders list soon ... #winning #cashwillcarry 🤑🏡🏢🚗🚚✈️💰🪙💴💵💶💸
750+?! Just by Lennar?!
@@TheBillOlsonyes i will let you know totals of other builders in Charleston area as soon as we get them confirmed 😮
@@josephguastella8037 I’d also love to know your source. I don’t think Lennar has 750+ being built in Summerville, let alone just in Cane Bay.
Who would have known! They closed the stinky paper plant up in North Charleston! Imagine no more sulphur smells in the hot humid summers!
🎉The day I drove past and didn’t smell the stink was a great day!
@@taraking6472 Ever live in the vicinity of a dog food factory?
Growing up, we never complained about the smell. Pluff mud and the paper mill were just the way you could smell that you were in Charleston
Just back from a turn around Bay Street. I searched this topic because I couldn't believe I was taxed 16% on a single drink. And let's not forget the 4% credit card fee because restaurants have decided they're not paying for that anymore. So basically, that's 20% higher right off the bat, then there's a 20% tip expected on top of that. So basically a cocktail is going to be a whopping additional 40% over the advertised price. It's absolutely insane. CHS without doubt has an amazing restaurant scene. But you see one exposed brick bar you've seen em all. It's just not worth it.
That’s why I don’t eat out very often
And then people use this to justify not leaving a decent tip for their server. Who probably can hardly afford to pay their rent. While people complain about wait times at restaurants and then also use that to justify leaving a poor tip… and then they wonder why nobody “wants to work”
I like hybrids as a happy medium on vehicles. I feel they are being largely bypassed by the all-electric movement. Liked the vid as always!
I’m loving my all electric!
I blame the notebook. It’s going down as a classic and the more that people see it the more they want to move there. It’s the only reason I’m even watching this video. I want to move there……because of the notebook.
Confession time: I’ve never seen The Notebook
It is beautiful
You a desperate person if you want to move to charleston 😂
beast
My man!
Have you updated this recently. Would you say there have been changes? It's got to be even more expensive than when you made this.
It’s only been 7 months. Yes things have changed, but will probably wait a year to do another. What specific data are you looking for?
I might be wrong but I think it's a 16% tax on alcohol at restaurants/bars.
You are correct. It’s an additional 5% liquor tax.
There was a time in Charleston and the rest of the state that alcohol in bars could only be sold in mini bottles. A lot of stores were closed on Sundays etc.
Please stop moving here

@@TheBillOlson We get you are a real estate agent but you have to know this growth at this speed isn’t good for Charleston.
