Introducing Justin Lewis: The Small Forward Sensation
In today's spotlight, we shine the light on the remarkable Justin Lewis, the Small Forward powerhouse out of Marquette. Bulls Nation was buzzing with anticipation when he was touted as one of the best undrafted free agents in the NBA last season. Unfortunately, his debut season was derailed by an ACL injury, leaving fans eager to see what he could bring to the team. But hold onto your seats, because Justin Lewis is BACK, now on a 2-way deal, ready to make his mark.
Strengths: College Legacy and Defensive Prowess
Back in college, Justin Lewis was celebrated for his noteworthy collegiate 3-point shooting percentage, above-average rebounding skills, and his defensive prowess. These attributes made him a promising prospect worth keeping an eye on in the league.
Challenges: Finding NBA Caliber
However, the transition to the NBA hasn't been as smooth as fans had hoped. While there was excitement surrounding his participation in the Summer League, his performance left some questions. In limited minutes spread across two games, he averaged 4.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist per game, indicating that he may not yet be at NBA caliber. No disrespect to the young and motivated player, but he seems more likely to feature prominently with the Windy City Bulls.
Projection: A Role on the Fringes
