With your cut off the main method, do you let the plant grow behind the pumpkin all season or do you dead head it as the season goes? I have one at day 10 I am trying to decide which method is better. Thanks.
10/10, your setup is so much more relaxed than some of the others. I'm still confused as to why the seed selection is so tiny for some growers. Some spend tons of time & money on such small samples of very young phenotypes. My amateur giant sunflower trials suggested I plant 90%+ more seeds than the # of flowers I intend to end up with.

My male Flowers don’t seem to have any pollen in them. Even when I self pollinate and no bees in sight. Any advice?
