I believe those damaged leaves, which I recognized instantly, are from over-fertilization. Whenever I made an additional application of liquid fertilizer or already had granular fertilizer down for a week & added liquid fertilizer, I would get leaves that appeared like that. Because I'm using Miracle Grow varieties & can't really alter the concentration. I just have to resist the urge of making a second application without waiting a full 2 weeks or so. I haven't timed it perfectly yet but waiting one week is not enough the leaves burned. I waited 10 days & burned leaves appeared on the next set of new growth versus the current set & new growth set that waiting only one week did. Growing season had ended by the time I had two weeks to wait & apply but that will be this summer starting point & I'll let you know if it works without burning any leaves. It is definitely a sign of too much fertilizer though regardless of what you're using to fertilize. Good luck!

Hey Mike, once again great video! This video was particularly good to watch to see how your plants are dealing with the nasty heat and to hear your thoughts on the situation.

You got it cooking man!! Those plants are looking good!! I made a mistake in trying to grow a bunch of nice plants and now can’t make myself pick which ones to cull smh 🤦‍♂️

@@MobyMikePumpkins the 2261 that I’m growing is looking great though and I could set fruit in a few days on it so it’s a keeper!! I tilled up more room today as well but I think I made my picks and I’ll cull tomorrow morning.

I have a flower on my 1911 16ft from the stump. The sidevines took a bit to come out but now are about 5 feet on each side and growing at least 6 inches a day. Do you think I’m ready to pollinate? The flower will open up in about 3-5 days I’m hoping for over 1500
