Hello, can i ask l, since this book is from 2014 can i still use it now and years after ?

I think you can but I say in the video Javascript gets updated every now and then, the changes made within JS over time will dictate how you write JS and it's syntax. The book goes pretty far and well in teaching the basics and most of it will still work, as of writing I'm still working through the book myself and not found any issues, I'm half the way through. If you've never touched Javascript before then this book is a must buy, use it to springboard your knowledge of JS and check the JS on Wiki, full of info to widen your scope it's only by self research you learn more.
