    This is a wonderful instructional and explanatory video. The presentation of multiple real-world configurations is essential, and the commentary on how and when a working seal is formed is great. I do love how anything that goes in water instantly becomes the Apollo 13 version of whatever it was before it went in water.

    This is a great video on how to put a system together. It's for a R5 but applies to any DSLR system.

    How do you remove the lens from housing? I cannot access the button to release it from Sony camera

    • @ikelite
      @ikelite  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thank you for reaching out. Which Sony camera are you using? On our DL housing, the very bottom dial on the side releases the lens. Turn the dial, then the lens, and it will be released. If you need more assistance, give us a call at (317) 923-4523

    So for changing batteries or SD Cards - do you have to dissemble all of it and do it again? Does it have to be sealed over night all of the time before entering the waters? That makes it a bit inflexible for me. Thanks!

      You don't have to leave it sealed overnight, ideally if using a vacuum check system you do want to give yourself at least 10 minutes or so to see if there's a pressure change.
      If you want to leave the camera in the housing rather than disassembling and reassembling then check out our USB-C Charging & Data Transfer Bulkhead: th-cam.com/video/Aop0yejTvTs/w-d-xo.html

      Perfect thanks. What’s a good retailer for Germany? Do you have sets available as well with lens mount and dome?

    Is there a leak detection alarm, like LED indicator or sound alarm

    • @ikelite
      @ikelite  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The vacuum test system allows you to check for leaks prior to entering the water. We don't currently offer a leak alarm but are looking into it, and there are some third party solutions out there that can be used.

    For the ef to rf adapter, can i use any brand or only canon adapters can fit the housing?

    • @ikelite
      @ikelite  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have only tested with Canon’s but as long as they’re the same length they should work just fine in the same port recommendations.

    What an annoyance ikelite, that you don't make a video dedicated to the assembly of the TTL 200DLM/C Underwater Housing for Canon EOS 200D Rebel SL2 DSLR, those of us who have this ikelite housing are also your clients!!!!!

    • @ikelite

      Hi, we're sorry you couldn't find the information you need to assemble your Canon SL2. We've got an SL2 instructional video on the way to help you out. Until then, you can contact us at (317) 923-4523 with any questions.

    Please, Ikelite, you offer to make a video explaining to customers that we have bought the housing for canon eso sl2, how is the housing 200DLM/C Underwater Housing and Canon Rebel SL2 Camera Kit should be prepared after the first dive? Please, there is no video on this from ikelite, those of us who have bought this housig are also your clients and we are waiting for ikelite to make an explanatory video on this subject, we are their clients too and we will be waiting for you to do at least a video for us.

      Thank you for choosing Ikelite products. At this time we have limited resources. We are not in a position to produce content 'on demand' nor can we individually cover each of the 80+ housing models that we currently offer. We will not be able to make a video about the SL2 which is over 5 years old and declining in popularity. The good news is that the SL2 assembly is exactly the same as the SL3 assembly. If you watch the video on the SL3 then you will be good to go!

      @@ikelite IKELITE,
      You only make videos only for the products that give you the most economic benefit, you don't care about your customers, you only care about your own economic benefit, I am a photography teacher in Peru, and I will sHOW your answer to show my students about the type of company what are you....IKELITE if you don't have time to explain your products to your customers, then how do you want to sell? what a disappointment of company
