How is this possible ? How can this human being have such a powerful and moving voice ? Tears and chills all at the same time. What an incredible moment for those in the audience. Love this guy on this song especially.
Props to the drummer, this is one of the only covers I've come across that offsets the soaring melody with the stumbling time signatures that - for me anyway - make Reckoner an unsettling ride I always come back to.
This of all performances is one where I feel everyone is where they're meant to be. Not on stage, not in their career, but in a universal sense. Things may not be the way they are supposed to be at times in this world, innocent people suffer, bad people prevail, but I feel that on that stage, every performer is where they would be in a perfect world. And that gives me hope.
What an amazing spin on this song. It's a completely new song. I love Radio Head singing this song but Gnarls Barkley just made me love this song all over again! That's talent right there.
Imagine having a gift so powerful it can overpower everything and simultaneously possessing the wherewithal to control it seamlessly. He’s absolutely perfect at all times.
Reckoner You can't take it with you Dancing for your pleasure You are not to blame for Bittersweet distractor Dare not speak its name Dedicated to all you All human beings Because we separate Like ripples on a blank shore (In rainbows) Because we separate Like ripples on a blank shore (In rainbows) Reckoner Take me with you Dedicated to all you All human beings
I love this cover so much. Always thought it was better than the original. And I’m a die hard Radiohead fan. Own all their EPs and singles and all their albums on vinyl. This is just so good. It’s what Thom would do if he was a “better singer”.
Yeah CeeLo is a better singer than Thom, and pretty much everyone else, so no shame in that. But.. I tend to think that the best version of most famous RH-songs are covers, even though this one is in a class of its own.
incredible performance - the intensity of this man's voice is just ... soul-shattering. IS THE CROWD DEAD OR TOO BRITISH? I'd be losing my mind if i was there
My thoughts exactly. 1. The deepness of Cee Lo's voice contrasts beautifully with the softness of Thom Yorke's voice in the song. It works both ways! 2. I would be dancing and crying and singing! And those people are just staring. IDK, maybe they were Katatonic or they were trascending space time just for being there.
Keep listening to this version ... He and his band did so fkn great on it and did it justice... Radiohead is good but this version sinks in so much more 🤘🏾🙏🏾🖤
cast your bread on the water.. do charity.. do it for god name and after many days the lord and not man will make it good. The lord is pleasant reckon and fierce avenger. Love and morality a strong house in the day of troubles.
Easily the best cover I've heard of this song. If only it was on spotify
LOL
Definitely. ❤
Came to comment section to write exactly this. Just wow.

Danger Mouse killing it on the tambourine
Amen.
I remember going to a Gnarls B show back in the day and this was their encore song... it's probably my favorite memory of any live show I've been at.
You’re lucky to have witnessed it 🙌🏻
The voice that projects across the universe. A summon to the last thousand people left on earth. When the time comes, Take me with you
Relax. Just enjoy the music dick

Only radiohead cover i’ve ever found good
Regina Spektor - No Surprises
That’s the only other good one I’ve found, she really makes her cover unique.
you need to look for more
Lianne la Havas - Weird Fishes @ Glastonbury
Joe Edelmann and Fluffy Momo have the best Radiohead covers on yt.
Weezer does a good version of Paranoid Android

As soon as the guitar starts: chills down my back! Great cover! Powerful voice!
Wowwww the heart in this song. He sang from the gut

Far better than original
The ONLY cover that's just as good ,if not better than the original. Ceelo's voice is like piercing silk.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT PEOPLE??? Are they already dead, bur nobody told them yet???
I like it even more than the original version 👍🏻
An absolutely awesome rendition, but the audience look like WTF's going on!

Es el único artista que es capaz de hacer un cover a Radiohead y que en realidad funciona.
Wow the comments on this. People are getting existential and poetic.
Chamomile and a brisk walk outside. You'll be alright.
Put some soul into it hallelujah!!! That's what I hear when thom sings I. A weird way....just not as fro. The chest like cee lo

Fat dude under stage lights singing his heart out
youve obviously never performed a full set singing your heart out indoors on stage before... lol its a hell of a work out.
He did right by Radiohead. Even I couldn't do a better cover.
wow even you
Wow then he's really good
even you? dang, with all those singing videos you have on your channel and with your name all over the radio, huh? wOw. "eVeN yOu".
