Just purchased a 2022 civic ex there was none in inventory I just have to wait a week for the vehicle to arrive I realized I may have been taking a chance purchasing the vehicle without even a test drive but based on everything I’ve heard about the car and this video I know I made the right decision 👍 . Hey Chris, I ordered a blue EX model and have a question. I’m up in the freezing tundras of Canada and there is a discrepancy in what each website says. Honda US says that all ex models are equipped with the 1.5L turbo but the Canadian site says that the touring is the only 1.5L available. I know about region stuff but I thought this car was made universally as of this year.
I test drove this vehicle today and I'm thinking of leasing it for $430CAD per month (5 years). It seems very worth it, but it's my first new vehicle purchase, so what do I know? My drive today was amazing and I didn't want to give it back, I know that much!
WOW $26000 for a Civic .. my first car was a new 82 Civic ..I paid sticker price for it $5800. That is over 4 times the amt .. so in 40 years the Ciivic will be over $100,000.
It really depends on the type of driving and how you're going to used the vehicle. I personally don't do a ton of driving and mostly highway driving for myself. I like the looks of the new civic and more likely would the sport or ex trim. Don't forget to compare the standard features between the Insight and Civics. Thank you for watching

I like the features. I got a Honda HRV 2022 and its missing some of the features this vehicle has, I had a 2018 Honda Civivc Ex. Is this vehicle as roomy for a person 6ft tall?
For me, they've taken steps backwards from the 2020 and 2021 EX packages. Some features taken away and I liked the digital instrumentation. I usually trade every two years but for the first time I'm disappointed and will hold off.
Honda took away several features that were in the 2020 EX. Power drivers seat... gone, fog lamps... gone, just to name two. Now you have to pony up a few grand more for the touring version to get them back. I usually trade every 12 to 18 months but going to pass on this one.
You're correct, American Honda has moved things around some but you also gain more as well. Traffic Jam Assist, LED lights are standard, air bag improvements, traffic sign recognition, more HP on the 1.5T Engine, the Blind Spot replaced the LaneWatch, and etc. At release the pricing was very similar with all the changes. I understand that some features are a huge deal. Thank you for watching

What do you have to say about Honda’s recent problems with their oil dilution problems in their turbocharged engines? Honda makes great engines, but it seems like their are not addressing this serious problem in their CRV’s and civics with the new 1.5T engines. And don’t even get me started on their supposed “software fix.”
This concern has been shared with me before. I can only speak/share that within my five years, I haven't had a customer experience this situation in Iowa cold winter.

These days most customers will get their car serviced at the dealerships and never actually find out that their oil is diluted with fuel. It’s a clear design flaw in these engines and Honda needs to go back to drawing board and fix it.. There’s even been a class action lawsuit filed concerning this issue. I love civics, they are my favorite car. But I have the 2022 LX model with the naturally aspirated engine that does not have oil dilution problems. I’m going to stick with this for awhile until Honda offers a real solution to the problem with the 1.5 turbo. It’s kind of a bummer that no 2023 civic will come in the LX trim. Nevertheless, thanks for the reply!

This civic already has problems stacking up. Brake pedal malfunction off showroom floor. Moisture build up in new LED headlight units…reliability slipping. Buyer beware
