I have to be honest, last week I wasn't sure if I could do this. I thought I would fall way behind. However, I stuck with it, followed your tutorial and with LOTS of hours of sweating, sewing, ripping out, and resewing lol, I was able to finish the first block. I can't tell you Jessica, how pleased I am with it. Now after seeing this weeks blocks, I feel even more confident and comfortable with it all. As I watched your tutorial today, I was saying out loud, I can do this! It seems a lot easier than last week LOL. Thanks for a great tutorial. Love the next 2 blocks! One day in the far far far future, I will be able to say I'm not a newbie anymore LOL.
The Shoofly block is an absolute favorite of mine. So far I'm loving your block choices. This is my first mystery sewalong and so far I'm enjoying it. Thank you.
Oh yay…on to planning what fabrics from my bundle to use for this weeks blocks. I’ve decided to wait until the end to make the setting blocks from week one. My fabric bundle is a large one and I think I will be able to make better decisions closer to the end of the sew along. Your channel and sew alongs have really pushed me ( in a good way) and I am now piecing with a lot less pinning and ironing. I also am making blocks with very small pieces which is exciting. Thanks so much for your teaching…it’s much appreciated!
Excited for wk two! Just have to say.. last wks blocks worked out so well "and precise" thanks for such a quality tutorial/pattern. I'm using parts of a forgotten fat quarter pk supplemented w stash scraps. I'm super excited w how it looks so far! Thanks again! 😃
I love how you make the block assembly look so easy. I can always follow along and at the end go "ohhhhhhhh"! loll Thanks for sharing all your hard work!
Hello...I really like how you show and explain things. I have to tell you I was never axfan at HST, but with making the triangle, it's getting better. The second block is a a little more challenging big reason. I didn't read the directions properly 😂. Thanks for your help.
Lovely! I admire your precision and the fact that you put and keep the fabric under the needle with only one hand. I tried that and it seems more confortable . 😊

I can’t wait to get my cast from my hand so I could join you.
Wow they came together so easily!
I am really enjoying my first quilt along and love your short and sharp tutorials. Is there somewhere we can see blocks from different participants?
❤
For me, cutting fabric is the hardest part.
How do you coordinate all the colors of your quilts? There all so beautiful 😍
I'm hoping I can keep up, will the patterns be up for a while, I have to have surgery I won't be able to save things from hosp???
Thanks so much! Are we allowed to post our blocks on Instagram and tag you❤
