    I love the millionaire segment! Especially with young people without inheritance!

    • @budgillett
      @budgillett ปีที่แล้ว

      Verily, I do rejoice with thee, Tia, upon hearing thy pleasure in observing segments that showcase young souls amassing wealth without the aid of inheritance. Such stories serve as a testimony to the virtues of diligence, prudence, and personal accountability. In the Holy Bible, it is written: "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich" (Proverbs 10:4). Similarly, in The Book of Mormon: another testament of Jesus Christ, we find teachings that emphasize the importance of labor: "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread" (2 Nephi 5:19).
      These scriptural references, aligning harmoniously with the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, affirm the divine principle that honest toil and labor yield their own reward, both temporal and eternal. Yea, it is within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is found, including the Law of Consecration, which stands as an elevated principle of financial stewardship and communal well-being (Doctrine and Covenants 42:30-34).

    I am a profitable ebay reseller. I do it part time and have another part time job. You do not have to tie up personal funds in inventory. You can start by selling items around your house. Then use that money to buy more items, requiring the business to pay for itself. I do think that it is wiser to keep your job until the business is producing enough income to replace it. Or do part/part (or FT/PT) like I do. The answer to the caller's concerns can lie in between as a compromise.

    • @budgillett
      @budgillett ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, Nigriff, thine admiration for Mike-characterized by hard work, generosity, leadership, and material success-is a commendable sentiment. In the Holy Bible, it is written, "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings" (Proverbs 22:29). And in The Doctrine and Covenants of the church of Jesus Christ: "anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of [our] own free will" (Doctrine and Covenants 58:27).
      Mike's virtues echo the principles taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is found. It is through this Church that we are guided to achieve not just temporal success but eternal exaltation. For as Prophet Russell M. Nelson wisely stated, avoid anything that robs you of your agency, including the temptation of debt and other addictions, to remain true to God's fabulous plan.
      Let us, therefore, emulate such virtues-hard work, generosity, and leadership-as they align not only with worldly wisdom but celestial glory, ever striving to follow the teachings of the Church and the counsel found in the Doctrine and Covenants and other sacred texts. Thus may we stand approved before God and among men.

    I've worked as an RSR and most companies will pay more than that, usually around $60,000+. They probably have justified the lower pay based on your youth and inexperience. I would look to apply for other vendor positions in the area, and with a good resume emphasizing your previous experience you can probably take home a decent salary by switching companies.

    I am new to the stock market. Every stock thatI bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 175K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities

    To the 22 year old w/ no college degree, moving to Tennessee (to be with family) and expecting a baby with his wife. PLEASE check into some of the workforce training programs at community colleges. There is a desperate need now for people to go into the trades and manufacturing (which now often involves a lot of technology and training on robots) and community colleges across the country are offering paid educations to those willing to train in certain fields. Please check it out! And, absolutely, I would think with a new baby and a wife who wants to work outside the home that being near family might be a blessing. I'd get out of Washington as fast as possible!

      @@barbara4329 Yes, I think he is tired of dealing with the same KINDS of calls and sometimes is doing something else during the calls so the camera turns away. I'm not sure why people will watch "only if it's Dave," because they will have to get used to the fact that at some point he will retire. Personally, I like Ken (hosting) and George together the most.

    • @Trustbutverify2651
      @Trustbutverify2651 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@davidb2206 We can agree to disagree. These were two individuals, both of whom should have served as host. Ken made some valuable points, but Dave also cut him off and to me he appears distracted when he is not answering the question. I think Dave is tired of the same old kinds of calls and his expertise should be saved not for "I have credit card debt, what should I do?" calls, but for very complicated situations which is where his knowledge really shines in comparison with other hosts. Personally, I'd like to see more calls centered on people who have really difficult situations that require more than just "sell your car, pay off your debts smallest to largest, and start saving for retirement." For example, he gave the best advice about repossessions of cars, paying off very old CC debt and told people exactly what to do or say - those kinds of thorny situations. Just my opinion.
