    You did an awesome job!!!! I have been watching videos trying to figure out the best way to do my kitchen and I think I will try this peel and stick kind. Now all I have to do is figure out which color for my black kitchen cabinets. ☺️ Again awesome job!

    How are they holding up especially around stove areas? Any peeling or damages to the tiles. A review video will be really be great

    • @HomeFreeFamily

      That's a great idea to do a review video! They are holding up great, no peeling or damage whatsoever. Our stove is in our island, so I can't say if heat would change how the tiles hold up or not.

    • @HomeFreeFamily
      @HomeFreeFamily  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Since our stove top is in our island and not around this backsplash it's really easy to clean. If you were to have grease and food splattering on it, with the different levels in the rock I could see it being a little tricky to clean.

  • @arriola851
    @arriola851 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    How's it holding up? I've seen people saying that after the heat from cooking gets to it....it starts to peel off from the glue

    • @HomeFreeFamily
      @HomeFreeFamily  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's been awesome so far, we've had no problems with it at all! Our stovetop is located in our island though, so I can't speak to whether or not the heat messes with the glue. But I would absolutely recommend this tile from our experience!

    What did you use to fill the gaps underneath the backsplash? My counter is off almost 3/8” over a 10 foot countertop.
    You did a great job. In fact, my kitchen cabinets are a similar color so I’m thinking of use the same backsplash you used but I don’t know what do do about the uneven countertop and the resulting gaps it will create.

    Is it hard to clean stuff off of? People are trying to talk me out if this, telling me that peel and stick is "dysfunctional", "cheap looking", and splitface stone is a "PITA to clean", that I'd want to "rip them off the walls as soon as I get splattered bacon grease".
    They keep telling me to tile porcelain or hire a pro.
    I can understand their concerns, but neither tiling nor a pro would give me the same look that this does.

    • @HomeFreeFamily
      @HomeFreeFamily  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm sure not all peel and stick quality is the same, but this tile looks just like regular stone tile when it's installed. For us it hasn't been hard to clean at all, but we also have our cooktop stove in our island, so we really don't get any splatters on it. From our experience, we'd totally recommend this tile!
