I love the black and iridescent white look together!😊 The addition of abalone will be interesting. As long as the pieces are small enough it should work.
Hey Michelle can you use your triangle knife flat parallel at a bit of any angle while it's turning as a straight edge to smooth the resin as it turns. Not just the point but the cutting edge as a resin guide?
I’ve done about 3 rings with the Abalone shells. I may not be doing it right, but it turned out really nice and I wear mine every day, do dishes, shower, etc, and it’s held up beautifully!! It’s been probably a year now, since I’ve made the ring. I order the tiny shell pieces. You get a good sized jar of them!!
Beautiful rings. I find that if you pull the little head off a micro brush it works really well to get the resin all the way to the side and it’s helps if you get bubbles.
I’m a nail tech, so the reason it may not cure is because black especially or dark colors need to be cured in thin coats . The light can’t penetrate thick coats, it may not be 100% cured underneath and might peel.
Love you channel . I would like to know how to get a tumbler to make rings. Did your husband make it? Love love to see all your work. Claudette from Halifax Nova Scotia. Canada
Gel nail polish may require a higher wattage nail lamp than the small one seen here. The high wattage ones are cheap nowadays. I got one over 200 watts for 15 bucks from temu. Most nail companies recommend at least 36 watts for gel polish curing. Hope this helps. Beautiful rings❤
I did the same as you, my black was dry, I taped on it but black colour was coming off onto my fingers when I touched it? Was weird. Have you used other embellishment stuff on your rings? I saw one done with jump rings and flat-backed jewels.
Hi I’m so glad I found your video, I always wanted to make a ring. I have one of those machines but rings 5 thru 9 won’t fit, do you have any suggestions?
Love love love these rings! Nice work Michelle! 😘

Fabulous
Beautiful!! But what kind of machine the machine that you use ? Because she turn slowly
Any tumbler turner works
Beautiful rings, where do you buy them from, because I do work with resin
Thank you
Temu, they are linked in the description box if that helps! 😊😊

I’ve only used tiny abalone shell in my rings.
Use a syringe to lay a bead of resin while it’s turning.
Great idea!

I wrap my arm with painters tape till the ring fits snug
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 the rings are smaller then the arm, size 5 and 7 maybe I can stick something in the arm to fit, thank you for answering.
Oh wow! My arms are too small for the rings 🤔
How durable are these rings? They are stunning
The stainless steel very, I am wearing some of them so that will be determined soon 😊
Can you make rings without a turner
Someone on Facebook said they did, but I’m not sure of the process.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Where did you get your tumbler turner?

Here is the link! Thanks for watching!
couldn't find the uv lamp any suggestions
I recommend this one: amzn.to/3uBin6E
what do you call or use to turn the ring please
A Tumbler turner
How many ml should the rings be? Im 74 yrs old and never did this, i am new to resin. Thank U very much
Maybe 5 drops per layer. Use U.V. resin so you don’t have to mix two part epoxy
🥰
I wish there was a way to do the rings without the tumbler turner. :(
They are not really that expensive, In fact I heard Dollar General or 5 Below had them if I remember right.
The black does not cure as well, with UV resin.
