It’s one that someone commissioned me to do (I’ve been stitching it for five months) at this point probably two years ago. So my heart is set in completing that for him. I have bought that beautiful aver Soie one with the cow and chicken on it (you make me want to stitch all of those). And I think I’ve bought some more to add to my collection in the past few months, but I haven’t stitched on anything else because I’m in commission detention at the moment.

I have a theory that TH-cam lets you watch just a certain number of videos without ads, and then dumps a ton of ads in the next one you watch - I have no real basis for this theory, other than my experience. Happy stitching- you are so inspiring!

Hello. Happy Belated Birthday. The stitched pieces on the walls that we can see in the video are gorgeous. I can only inspire to have that many beautiful pieces that I stitched finished & framed. I just finished my first project (Float by Plum Street Sampler) on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha. I used Victoria Clayton Silks. I love stitching on 40 count & really like the silks. I already have 2 more projects kitted up with 40 count linen & Victoria Clayton silks. I would like to try some other silks that would be good to use on 40 count linen. I like the idea of silks that come on spools. Can you recommend some good silks to use? I did see some silks that stated it was for use with a higher count linen like 56 count, & I want to make sure I get the right ones for 40 count linen. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful pieces with us.
Thanks, Chris! I know 100.3 come on spools, but I’ve not used them. The Soie Surfine is nice, but it’s for 56 count. I did enjoy the NPIs I used recently, but they are in skeins. I’m going to try Vickie C soon!
