That's what I do when I end up forgetting a word I need to convey the idea I want to. I try to come up with another way of expressing the same thing but with different words.
Interesting Thiago. I've been practicing speaking everyday but I started seeing more results when I began adding a syntax practice session in my studies, where I practice using connectors to connect sentences and so on. I consider this a targeted practice. When we practice speaking, we talk about random things, different topics and use different structures. Some sentences we master, others we don't. That way, we may spend little time using structures we're weak at in our speech and, as a result, we don't improve in that strucure. By doing a targeted practice, I can focus on improving the structures I'm bad at, thereby making it flow naturally in my speech, improving my overall fluency. I've been doing those exercises. I thought about exercises regarding paraphrasing, but I haven't practiced it. Now that you've mentioned it, I'll try and I really think it's gonna make the difference.
By the way, I think it'd be good to organize this practice, for example, by breaking it into different sorts of paraphrasing: -switch active to passive or vice and versa -convert direct speech into reported speech or vice and versa -use synonyms for two or more words -transform a sentence into a more concise one -modify the tone: formal to informal or informal to formal -change the order of the sentence -switch connectors -use analogies or metaphors to paraphrase -transform positive sentences into negative one, keeping the meaning (and vice versa) -change casual speech to academic
Hello, everyone. I want to thank you Mr thiago for all these lessons. Very inspiring, very wonderful. I'm among the followers. It's my favourite channel.
Thiago, I think this kind of perspective on fluency is thought-provoking, but honestly, I'd like to suggest an idea for another episode of your podcast: intentional vs functional fluency. I hope that you're doing great. greetings from Ukraine. Keep up the amazing work!
Loved this paraphrasing at B2 and C1 I am studying a C1 level , and this is really useful Could you put more examples on that level? , or even C2 would be great Thank you, cheers 😁
Thank you Thiago for your motivating words. I always dreamed of becoming a polyglot, but I didn't realize that I already was, to some extent. I'm glad to be a member of your Community. Greetings - Margaret 😀
I am certain Thiago , your content will one day reach 1 million viewers. Moreover, I believe , you will create more episodes on English grammar. To be honest, I have a lot of trouble with the passive voice. What is the best way to memorize this kind of challenging concept and get an adventage over passive voice??
Thiago, why don't you make a discord server? It would be great for us to communicate with other learners and even with you. I aprecciate for these vids, so important for my English learning journey. Greetings from your native country Brazil! 🙌

seems good
Please make a podcast on how to talk on any topic for 1 minute at least
Use many "filler words" like. "Like" "actally" "basically" " you know what I mean" etc its good option instaed of "yyyyaaaa"
Deb was interested into visiting the museum, is that correct?😅
I would say "Deb was interested in visiting...", not "into visiting". =)
I said: deb approve visiting the museum... (I always do that... but had no idea that it is called "paraphrasing" hahaha
Hi thiago. I would like to buy the program paying $49 bucks. Is it possible?
I have to enhance my paraphrasing, cause I'm not so good on it
For reaching such goals I get used to paraphrase Reverso Context. You can try to use it
Who can write to me an essay about self love.
