Oh my Gosh Tiago, I hadn't even expected to see my story in this video! I'm so excited that you shared it... You're right - I'm already a winner 🏆 And I really believe that your podcast and your lessons helped me overcome my fear of speaking and realize that B1 is not bad at all 🥳. It is definitely worth taking Thiago's lessons! The main thing is patience; learning a language truly takes time! 🤷
Oh my gosh, Thiago! I listened to this podcast, and now I'm so happy because you said that the B1 level is not a low level. It makes me really happy because I'm at the B1 level. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. By the way, AI helps me a lot by correcting everything that I type before I send it. ☺
Of course, you are among my only 5 teachers that I follow. Thank you very much for your dedication in teaching us and the time you take to make these very useful videos.
Hey Thiago 👋 you are amazing!!! Every episode that you share with us brings me to reflection about myself, about my journey, and fixing mistakes. Thank you so much.
Thank you for reminder that's what I'm looking for, because we subconsciously are doing many things wrong and right now you rest and calm us down and return us to the main idea : ENGLISH TAKES TIME, that's really considered encouragement for us❤
how can we overcome this sense of insecurity that we continuosly judge ourselves, not doing enough, not even progressing, not putting enough efforts. instead of enjoying the process, we make it language learning journey even more difficult for us.
This video is just for me. Like students, we commit many mistakes in our learning because we want to do a lot of stuff at the same time. Thank you so much. I feel frustrated with my slow progress.
I think the "productivity race" actually devastates our productivity. Thank you, thiago! So true: now, I'm striving to cut down on my TH-cam teacher list from around 20 to at least 7. I really hope more people will pursue the slow productivity after watching this episode. Wishing everyone a Halloween that's as sweet as your candy stash.
❤ this is helpfu. I always use my time in a perfect thing whenever I sit down and watch your video. The good thing is, i can now understanding 90% of what you say without glancing at you when speaking talking, or use subtitles
It was a very useful episode . To be honest , I used to make that kind of mistake - I focused on too many channels and subjects , but after your advice in this content , I cut it down to a shorter list. Thanks a lot and hats off for another great video !
Thiago you are my first english teacher on TH-cam channel I have been following going on one half year real life english app channel & Eng. with Thiago channel you're teaching skill superior or excellent. I would ask you one questions I have been running job in pharmaceutical industry going on 5 months I don't get much enough more time now days I'm so busy.I hope you can make video on the time management to learning english for the busy people It's make helpfull for our english learning skills ❤
it's great today lesson in this year i have plans to working my english reading and listing practice current i can understand A2-B1 article almost 90 present and listing 75 that is motivated me keeps going
Thanks for your valuable information, I'm completely agree with you . But what when we want start a new job with english and we don't feel enough strong and comfortable to start .
Thiaga I love your pronunciation, I love the way you speak, I mean your fluency sounds very natural to me and it makes more easier to understand even without looking at subtitles. I want to sound like you while speaking so if you could start making videos on short sentences practice exercises so we could practice it regularly. by the way whatever content you are making I love it, I do watch it, like it, and that part your video where you explained the mail of that girl telling her story. it encouraged me to share my thoughts with you.
Hello, Thiago. I hope you answer my question. I study English by mostly practicing my listening every day. I don’t often use my speaking skills or focus on reading and writing either. However, when I do speak, I speak very well. Do you recommend that I focus more on speaking rather than listening? I study for more than two hours a day, and it’s mostly about listening and acquiring vocabulary.
Thank u for ur beneficial advice but don.t know if I can..u said what I ve suffered from ..lve been watching E videos for a long time but in vain my ability is weak..thank u teacher.
Shiny object syndrome is the situation where people focus undue attention on an idea that is new and trendy, yet drop it in its entirety as soon as something new can take its place. Wikipedia.
First time I heard ur podcast and I really like ur teaching ways I have english speaking problem I think I am intermediate inEnglish .plz can u suggest me how I can improve my speaking English problems
Yes i agree with you handoP, specifically, we shouldn't have one finger into many pies, and one more, there is a common idiom in our country which i like says:A little that is permanent is bettrer than alot that is intermittent.
Can you tell me.... listening to a podcast at 2-2.5x speed is effective or not...I recently completed this video in Spotify at 2.5 x speed and came into TH-cam to ask you the question
I would encourage you to reflect on these questions: 1) Why do you feel the need to finish a 30-minute podcast in 10 minutes? 2) What is it that you think you're gaining by consuming loads of information at the speed of light? If you're consuming something for a specific purpose and if this content is not that important for your life, I suppose it's okay to consume it faster. But if you're trying to learn something meaningful and want to truly implement that piece of information in your life, I would say that's not the best way to go. I don't mean to be snarky, but if you had listened to this episode at the regular speed and taken the time to process all the information from it as I suggest doing in the video, you wouldn't be asking this question. So to put it simply, no, I don't believe consuming content at the speed of light is an effective strategy for true learning.
@Sóumit-q6z I totally agree with you, if the purpose of listening to a high speed is developing that skill, but if the purpose is to LEARN what the teacher is teaching, then the video must be listened to at a normal speed. I think the teacher will agree with you if your purpose is to develop your listening skill. At the end, you have to APPLY what best fits for you since all of us have different ways to approach our learning.
He haven't told about never doing that, but just to think about doing that if you're a beginner. The problem is the overdo. But, in your case, If you are totally capable watching this video in 5x, that's ok, go for it. I like to watch things in 2x as well, but when I'm studying, I do the things in a way that the information can be settled in my brain.
Thiago why are you take off the subtitles in your classes? i would likevso much that you set again because a could lerned about lissening and how riting , because my first dificult is typing in English, bebire i culd learn bolth sings at the same time!
You don't need an app to study English if you don't like them. They can be useful tools to add some variety to your studies, but you don't need them. My point in the video is to avoid having TOO MANY language-learning apps on your phone.

Hi Thiago, how’s it going?
What city do you live in?
I’m from SP
You got me on a hook with your words from start of a video) Subscribed! Also like for "Master of puppets"!!! Who know they know)
Thiago why are you take off the subtitles in your classes? i would likevso much that you set again because a could lerned about lissening and how riting , because my first dificult is typing in English, bebire i culd learn bolth sings at the same time!
I hate apps, I like my phone empty because I prefer to see the clear screenshot, but if an app is needed to study English, maybe I can buy one

I understood 90% of this episode. But I think it`s not enough to be poor B1 level:(
love
