  • After the inconclusive battle with the Stormpeak Dwarves, Gangrenous Hex retreats with the remnants of the army back to the Blasted Lands, while Moxis takes a small bodyguard and makes for the ancient Laboratory within The Grim Pinnacle. His journey does not go unnoticed however, as the Dwarves remaining on the field note his movements and the Stoney Creek Watch track him through the woods along the mountain slopes.

    That was one badass zombie, glad to see this series continue. For a guy that fails a lot, Moxis' defeats aren't exactly humiliating defeats, he even managed to run off with some good loot.

      I think the zombie was the only thing that went Moxis's way. Definitely the MVP.
      I'd say Moxis fails upwards, but it's probably more sideways!

    Awesome content man. Love how each video has a little bit more flare added. You painting tutorials have really helped as well. I use your methods for almost all of my oathmark miniatures. Keep up the good work.

  • @TheLordUrban
    @TheLordUrban ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This seems to be an unpopular topic in Frostgrave circles, but what stats/rules would you use to represent elves and orcs?

    • @AshandStoneNZ
      @AshandStoneNZ  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I did a minimal amount of searching and I was surprised there were no conversion guides already.
      My plan at the moment is:
      Elves get +1F, +1S and -2H.
      Dwarves get -1M and +1A.
      Orcs get a "Charge" ability, +1F when they move into contact with an enemy.
      Humans and Goblins are treated RAW.
      And Undead get the Undead rule.
      Is it balanced? Probably not. But for solo gaming, it'll be fine!

    Could we please get some detailed videos of the heavy dwarves`? I am sitting here wondering where half the parts comes from, or how much is converted/kitbashed. I am looking at the 2H Guys going for overhead swings like the one at 22:35.

    • @AshandStoneNZ
      @AshandStoneNZ  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I need to finish the Linebreaker and Heavy Spear units at some stage so I'll be sure to film it.
      In the mean time, I used much the same process as that I covered in my video on switching hands for the Dwarf Light Infantry: m.th-cam.com/video/ooJbs0Lt-dQ/w-d-xo.html
      All the converted arms for the Heavy Infantry came from the Heavy Infantry sprue, with very little putty work (mainly gap filling)
      For that particular Dwarf, I think I used one of the one-handed arms on the right, with the weapon cut from the hand, and a two-handed arm on the left, cut at the elbow and repositioned. The hammer would have been cut from the original right hand, cut below the head, and then reassembled with glue around the new right hand. I'll confirm that later on today!

    • @AshandStoneNZ
      @AshandStoneNZ  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Close, but not quite!
      I used the right arm from the two handed hammer, with the hammer carefully cut off, and the matching left arm.
      The right arm was attached as is, just rotated higher than normal.
      The hammer was cut in two part way down and then glued back onto the right hand so it looks like the shaft is held higher up. The "pommel" was then glued on the end of the shaft.
      The left arm was cut at the elbow and wrist and reassembled to hold the hammer.

      @@AshandStoneNZ Well it shows in the end! I find it a bit daunting to start cutting and greenstuffing to be fair.
