The difference now is they have CONTROL. Before, in the U.K., they lacked all control with their privacy. Now in the States, they can pick and choose when they want their photos taken.

She dropped everything including her princess title so she could be a commoner and move to America to be with her husband. No book, no show, no interview from the couple. The title of this ‘documentary’ is incorrect. The Royal Family does not have a feud with Harry and Meghan, they have a feud with the Royal family. Just about everyone would have been happy to support their step back for privacy and to raise their family, but that is not what any of this has been. I am one of those people who read the comments while I listen to whatever I am watching. So much negativity! I can't but wonder why they bothered to watch instead of just scrolling by. Obviously I am one of the rare people who actually think everyone has the right to live the life they want even if it highly differs from family or others. This is how I feel about these two, but especially Harry because I've always liked him & felt bad he was basically spare parts & always in someone else's shadow because of birth order. How it seemed to them is how it seemed to be. In support of Harry I can only say that he is finally with someone he loves and she loves him for him, he's #1 in this family they have made. It's obviously not a loveless marriage or a marriage of convenience like his mother's. It's really none of anyone's business to judge them poorly just because we are pissed they broke so badly with the Royal family. (Yes, I am!) I really felt for the Queen! I truly hope this family can mend someday. In every family there are shiz talkers & gossips, among other issues that affect the rest of the family. They are either fully estranged or put up with because they are family. When you really like one person in spite of their faults it is hard. Haters are going to hate & that's their right but it is disappointing.
@RianShafer I would respect Harry and his wife if they could make a living without trashing the royal family. I am still baffled why they insist on using royal titles while simultaneously trying to dismantle the monarchy. Princess Anne is technically a "spare", but she works harder than anyone in her family to support her brother. As I see it, Harry can choose a life of purpose or continue to whine about his sad childhood. It's way past time for him to pull up his big boy pants and stop playing the victim, because his act is surely past tiresome.

I respect the Royals & the very long lines they descend from but I'd want no part of the lifestyle. It's just way to scrutinized by everyone. Like I said, I hope they recover as a family someday. This documentary seems so outdated now that we have learned the true story behind Megxit. I don't think Harry's wife's ego would ever allow her to be in a supporting role. She sees herself as a leading actress, but has settled for life as a D-list celebrity with a royal title that has zero value in America. She can throw any amount of money at a new PR firm, but it is difficult to represent someone who has shown zero talent. She needs to hang onto Harry to keep a grasp on any kind of relevancy, and it must be sad for her to keep failing in her professional pursuits. Perhaps she needs to step back, do some soul searching and sincerely apologize to the family and friends she has hurt in her wake.

Here’s what gets me; I’m a highly discerning film lover and have been a fan of Liz Garbus for quite some time now; their documentary looked right, smelled right, felt right, but it wasn’t.
It was simply lies, or their take, whichever one believes; me being the former, and it came across as desperate.

And I’m not sure why a woman so established such as Garbus would attach herself to what turned out to be a mess.
I loved the look, the feel and definitely the sound of the documentary, and I’m in NO way a Royal ‘watcher’, and I’m sorry to know that the brothers bond has been irreparably broken.
But if you like them, that’s great- it’s whatever makes YOU happy.

The pregnancy was announced AT Eugenies wedding, that was why there was such astonishment at how someone could be so rude. The BRF are suppose to be diplomatic, nit divisive or Political, they rule by the will of the people and work on the behalf of the country and its people. It's time to turn the page and begin a new chapter, one that says that Harry was able to reconcile with William and Charles and the royal family can now pledge themselves to a brighter and happier future because hate is a very destructive emotion and can make people ill or increase the seriousness of a current illness. They had to have been both traumatized by what happened to Princess Diana. Regardless whether one likes / dislikes Willy, Harry or their mother.
