Havnt ridden pitbikes over 10 years and just got myself one couple months ago and built it up. Most of the bolts were snapped in the frame and everything needed going over! Can't wait for this snow now
Get yourself some Evaporust. Not the cheapest stuff in the world at about £50 for 5l, but works really well and can be reused so will last you ages. You can pour into a container then leave the parts there, like bolts, brackets, etc over a day or so then and the rust will come off really well with a gentle scrub. You could also get a small bench grinder with a wire wheel from Screwfix to clean the bolts and nuts. Ultrasonic won't take the rust off and probably not best for the chain anyway considering these are internally lubricated.
I actually have some evaporust I used it today on the chain adjusters, filled a little zip lock bag with it popped them in and popped it in the ultrasonic for 30 minutes they came out 10000% better, they were perfect but they were usable again 🤟
Thanks 🤟 this one is shaping up nice and should be done fairly quick the stomp will be getting totally stripped and im gunna go all out on that one so it will look a totally different bike when I'm done!
Another great video pal you have given that little bike a new life ... otherwise destined for the scrap man . Finnished or not it's got life Well done 👏
Hey mate if you find they take forever to start when cold, I’d be doing the valve clearance’s as the intake valve usually tightens up over time, I’ve had it on bikes I’ve brought and sold that the previous owner couldn’t get it going. Coming together good though!
@jakehdj8099 thanks I've actually finished this one now and starts great every time now, but I'll bear that in mind for the stomp as I want to do a full rebuild on that one anyways 🤘
don,t forget to check the valve clearance,s ,because they normally need adjusting after being run in for certain length of time , from new ,and everything beds in ,and most owners don, t do it , and who knows how many hours they have been running . and it,s not hard job ,it can be done in less than 10 minutes . plenty of youtube video,s showing how to do it ,you will need feeler gauges . but there cheap . and if the valves clearances are out of spec , it,s cost nothing to adjust them :) and it,s a new skill to learn , if you have,nt done it before :)
The Welsh pit bike is a way better bike than the stomp so if your gonna rebuild any of them from the ground up it should be the Welsh one plus it’s got some good bits on it
They seem exactly the same so not sure how it's a way better bike, but the WPB is more complete and will be a quick flip once it's back together and running that's the only reason I'm doing it this way round as the stomp needs to be taken apart anyways coz of the broken frame 😅🤟
@KPP365 the stomp is well battered but that one will be getting a serious fix up soon 🤟 the welah pit bike is basically the same thing just a different brand 😅
DON'T spend much on them. but lucky these wuhan pitters have a lot of the same parts and parts from china are so cheap! you could almost pimp a whole bike for $100. but the resell value of these things are so low so keep that in mind.. my fav copy is the crf50 size with upgrades and put the lifan 125cc motors into them. i rip around on them all the time. pre much 90% of my dirt bike videos is on a crf50 pitter
I won't be spending much on the first one it's nearly done and I've spent way less than £100 the next one will probably mount up the costs but they actually have quite a good value here in thr UK they average like £200 for them in the condition I bought them 😅
Buy a new subframe for the z3 bud, I had 1 there brilliant bikes if looked after, just noticed you've got a day plus electric wratchet there OK for the money I have oneaha aha
Apparently it's just a bolt I need as the subframe it's self is intact but will fi d out more when I strip it down next week 🤟🤟 that little wrench is great to be fair most impressive £26 I've ever spent 🤣
@mototommy5525 lots of the tools are battery compatible I bought a polisher that also came with 2 batteries and a charger so just buy another tool and get a new charger with it 😅🤣

Amazing as usual!! Wish I had a place like that, I'd get more things done.
Thanks 🤟 its great for getting stuff done just wish I could be there more often to get more done 😅
Liked the video, you certainly have your work cut out with the bikes, good luck and keep the videos coming.
Thanks, new video should be out later 🤟
The hits keep coming, Sam. Another really enjoyable vid. Can't wait to see how these bikes turn out.
Thanks!🤟 I'm really enjoying these now I've got stuck into then hopefully have this one finished for next week🤟
Another cracking vid bro! Love a pit bike wouldn't mind another one myself
Cheers bro! I may have something more your size coming up 😅🤟

Well done 👏
Thanks 🤟 its had an entirely new lease of life and as of today it's looking even better... but you will have to wait for next week for that 😅
It's coming along well Sam. 👌
Thanks im really chuffed with how much I got done so far, can't wait to finish this and start the next one now 🤟
Another good video Sam the plt bike is coming along nicely 👍
Thanks 🤟 hoping to have this one finished and sold by next week's video so I can make a start on the other one 😅
I’ve been waiting sooooo long for this
Sorry for the wait, but the wait is finally over you will be seeing alot of these the next few weeks 🤟🤟
@ the flames coming from that exhaust was a good touch 😂
@deanaquatics716 yeah that was really cool... was a bit worrying because it's not supposed to do that but I was cool 😅
The old carb might come in handy for the next pit bike
Yeah hoping to get a gasket kit and use it as its a better carb than the standard Chinese replacement 🤘
You might be able to bring the chain back to life Sam. A container with engine oil on a gentle heat should loosen it back up.
My dad advised me the same thing actually so I may try that as I was really gutted it was so stiff I couldn't get it into my ultrasonic cleaner 👎
Gotta love a pitty will
Be doing my super moto pit bike videosoon
Awesome stuff I'll keep an eye out for it 🤟

would love to see a full restoration of the pitbikes
@Tune.Up.Techie. the stomp will be getting a total strip down and restoration so stay tuned for that! 🤟

Was the ultrasonic a Temu purchase also?
@RalphAnderson7605 actually had it from amazon but I have got some temu purchases coming up in the next few weeks 😅👍
Good video mate
@@rctaz990 thanks 🤟
Would you consider selling wpb when you've fixed it up ? I'm interested
Sorry it already has a buyer 😅 the stomp will be for sale in the next few weeks and will be getting a better refurbishment than the wpb 🤘
Have you had any interest on the bandit yet?
Sadly the bandit developed an electrical issue that I'm yet to get to the bottom of and it's currently a non runner so its still with me😅👎
More bike stuff please
Plenty more bike stuff to come, stay tuned 🤟

Omg yes bro 😊
🤟🤟
Try a heat gun on the plastics.
I very nearly picked one up the other day in the range to try it out but decided to try with some things I've already got first 🤟
@SamsAutoAssortium no worries. Titan heat gun is the best.
The stomp looks like it's been stomped on 😊 Best of Look Sam. What's a Welsh oit bike ?? I will Google it 👍
@KPP365 the stomp is well battered but that one will be getting a serious fix up soon 🤟 the welah pit bike is basically the same thing just a different brand 😅
How much you wanting for the Welsh pit bike?
@danielphillips2095 already got a buyer lined up for it which will all be in next weekends video 😅🤟
@@SamsAutoAssortium no worries good luck mate keep the videos coming 👍
@danielphillips2095 will do mate cheers 🤟
