You are so right about the power of writing!I've always loved reading & writing and recently picked up a project a started years ago. It's been such a journey but it's also been the biggest joy. Writing is really one of those skills you can improve with time and it's sparked major creativity for me🙂I'm still learning but I really want to finish my book and maybe after that do some shorts stories or novelas❤️Good luck to anyone who enjoys this art!!

Great video. Really enjoyed the background music. My writing journey began when I was a kid, writing on scraps of paper--story ideas, bunch of "what ifs," etc...Eventually, I the scraps became short stories, which were not very good, but I liked them. I began my pursuit of the novel in my 20s. Could never get much past the first few chapters. Then COVID came around and I was stuck in my house. I was now 60 years old. Suddenly, words tumbled out and I could sustain the narrative all the way to the end. Since then, I have written 4 other novels, published two. I absolutely agree with your claim that "I write what I like." It was once I came to terms with the notion that I would write the book I wanted to read, I was able to go for it. Something about shutting out the world and doing something just for yourself. It is liberating and can help a new writer get over the hump of what can seem like a daunting task.

Its funny how our so much of our youth tells us who we really are creatively. I appreciate this take on the power of writing, it truly is a power that at times gets the back burner of our creative pursuits. Cheers to embracing your power through your art of writing. Thanks for the advocation Nwabi!

Love this video! I really agree with how writing brings you closer to yourself and my journals give me freedom to be honest about myself and wwrite down thoughts that i cant put anywhere else
Id like to comment on something tho, the video would be a lot more structured if you divided it into sections and that would make it a bit easier to watch
