Your instructions are brilliant. My mum's no longer here to ask for tips, so I'm very grateful for your tutorial!

    Hello,
What a nice & wonderful ball. I seek your advice about seaming. I am unsure where to pick up the horizontal strand of increased/decreased stitch. For example, Row 20: K2tog, k3 (one side has a decreased edge, the other normal stitich).
There is a ton of tutorials/information about mattress stitch using swatches without increased/decreased edges, but I could not find any tutorials on how to seam together when salvage is increased/decreased stitch. If you would make a video tutorial about this, it would be highly appreciated.

Hi! Maybe I'd do a tutorial one day but my general rule of thumb is to pick up a strand 1 stitch from the edge. This isn't so clear where there are increases/decreases as you said, so try and pick up any 1 strand - not necessarily a clear horizontal strand - just in from the edge. As long as you do the same on each side it should work out.
Or you could place a knit stitch (on RS rows) or a purl stitch (on wrong side rows) between the increases/decreases and the edge you will seam, and that will solve the whole problem :D

I see, thank you for your time. I think that beginners/advanced beginners have been strugged with picking up a strand from increased/decreased stitch for seaming. If you would make a tutorial, it draws attention from them. Just a thought ;)
      Thank you again.
