Delightful to see these photographs, particularly those of the top of the Statue of Liberty's head and of the big chalkboard on the physics of surfing, which I'd never seen before. Thank you!
Again, all I can say is wow, wow, wow! Some incredible pictures in this compilation. And I love the way you leave the picture on the screen long enough to be able to really look at it. And the music...soooooo beautiful.
Thanks so much for putting this video together! What an incredible set of photographs. I enjoyed looking at all of them, but especially liked the Transcontinental Rail, the unfinished Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty's head, and the terrible moment the Hindenburg caught fire. History is fascinating, and these historical moments caught on camera make it even more so.
Glad you enjoyed it! The Transcontinental is also one of my favs. The incredible distances covered and they met in the middle. Incredible achievement. Although I'm sure it was no walk in the park for anyone involved in the construction.
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos I completely agree, the measurements must have been so exact to know they would meet in the middle. It reminded me of the moment the English and French construction engineers on both sides of the Channel Tunnel met. TV cameras were there to record it although they already had met up at some point earlier; it was filmed as more of a symbolic moment. I can't begin to imagine how projects such as these come to fruition. As you say, they really are incredible achievements.
I love history so I’m so happy to see these videos the big one for me was the 9/11 one. I wasn’t born for it but I still know the big impact it had on us. Most times we can just think that the things we do as people aren’t that large scale. They aren’t going to do much. But that photo says otherwise. It was big enough to be seen in space, big enough to change an entire planet.
Can't remember which set of photos it's in, but there's a colourised photo of a young soldier about to go "over the top" which is incredibly moving. I wish I could find it again. I'd love to find out more so that I can try to get a print of it. I can't get it out of my mind. 😢
Awesome indeed!!! They all are. Congratulations 🙂
Thanks a bunch for watching !

You are very welcome. I had never seen the surfer chalkboard one before either. Thank you for your kind words and support.
Excellent and amazing! I like the background music, it goes well with the video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it David. Thank you for the feedback !
6:38 the kid’s Face says it all. He’s like “wth is our teacher doing”😂

The Spanish flu pic was ironic with the wear a mask or go to jail sign. Could've been today.
The Hindenburg picture is the most well known picture of the disaster
Your just all good
I love the one where Lyndon b Johnson takes the oath RIP JFK
4:31 are those some of the members of the Night Witches, who were female pilots from the then Soviet Union?
The d day photo kinda looks like one scene from dunkirk
2:45 lol
This confirms exactly what I've been trying to point out that we are in the midst of a solar eclipse in Australia not to mention a Lunar eclipse...

I have this print on my wall. I can barely look at it. Heights!
Excellent pics, the D day pic made me feel some kind of way, idk sad that most of those soldiers were killed!
That photo always reminds me of Saving Private Ryan. The visceral opening scene was so powerful and brought the photo to life.

Well, at least you had the honesty and decency to use the world "probably" in the headline description of this video.
There were no miniskirts back in the 1940's...
boy stole and crashed dads car, 😂
That was a pretty random photo, but I had to put it in there because it made me laugh out loud !!!

He looks like he's about 10. 😂
Jackie O looks oddly calm in that photo on Air Force One.
She's in shock
I would also imagine she's been given some tranquilizers by now.
