    • @therandomdot2563
      @therandomdot2563 4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      A lot of times he's trying to "punch up" the guest's banter to make it funny. IE: the audience is there to get some laughs. And, the studio execs have probably told him that if a guest drones on, he needs to interject something "witty" every 10 seconds to keep the audience from losing interest. So, I don't fully blame Jimmy. He's a cog in the wheel of big entertainment ran by execs trying to pander to a lowest-common-denominator audience.

    Quintin is my inspiration as far as what a person should strive to feel like… because he seems to be so enthusiastic about films and he did made his dreams come true and he’s appreciated for his work…. And man isn’t that the biggest goal anyone can have??? His energy is amazing..

    What I love about Quentin is that he learned how to make movies- by watching movies! Sure every director does, but his storylines are so advanced and thought out that it’s fascinating. He’s also passionate about his work, he KNOWS that his movies are good, he’s charismatic while being confident which is the best combination.
    I’m a writer and I get a lot of my ideas from Quentin, such a huge inspiration.

    • @pixiniarts
      @pixiniarts 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is probably a big age thing with the Ealing films and probably an American vs British thing too. I'm in my 40s... So films like that were on TV when I was a kid like Passport to Pilmico, Lavenderhill Mob, Cruel Sea and Kind Hearts and Coronets. Its weird because on the flip side at the same time you had Starwars, Indiana Jones and Ghostbusters so those films were pretty dated in the early 80's, Tarantino's video store must have had some pretty weird stock to an American audience.
