Sancho Retáblez oh yea I was super happy about that. Ryan demos some great pedals and the chase bliss stuff is drool worthy and well worth the $499 price but this is more accessible haha.

... and this is why I love playing the guitar! You opened the boxes - love at first sight for every pedal. Then you played the first sound, and I had to pick my jaw off the floor. All those pedals are amazing, otherworldly, and incredibly versatile. There's loads of information on their site, and the prices (in Euros) seem reasonable, and they're currently offering a 20% discount! I was laughing out loud in delight at how great those pedals sound. I expect a sharp spike in sales. Ryan - that was one of the best, most fun pedal demos ever. I'm Jonesing for the Fernweh.
I..... MUST.......HAVE........THEM.......ALLL!!!!!! The lead guitar player in our band passed away recently. The decision was taken not to replace him. I, as the second guitar player (and lead vocalist) was now to be the chosen one to do both. The first thing I did was to get the Cuvave Fuzz (thanks Ryan) and the Mooer Ocean Machine. Now I will move on to these. What my fellow band members have unleashed is a creature they can no longer control. A full 90%of our set list (thankfully ) is now relegated to the dust bin!

I'm a recent new subscriber to your channel and really enjoying your content. These pedals are so damn cool and inspiring. It's easy to see these being all day pedals and your mind was clearly blown a couple times here trying to make sense of what your ears had just heard :)
At first I compared them with Death by Audio (look and sound) and I look up for the prices on the web:
Jive: 139€
Super Weirdo: 179€
Fernweh: 199€
For the sound, to me they're all affordable, much more than Death by Audio off-scale prices.
There's a Manuals section on the website that shows you a diagram of each pedal. Seems like there's still a little to figure out after that but it at least labels them for you.
Also, I'm totally buying one of these. Probably the super weirdo. If I could I'd get that Fernweh as well.
Here`s an idea for another batch of affordable pedals - JOYO. They have a lot of them.

Pt2399 delays are beautiful sounding.
The chip was designed for adding echo to karaoke machines and became very popular with with DIY pedal builders.
It's really getting to show what it can do in this amazing pedal.
It's the best chip. If you're a noise monkey. On the Fernway it's been low pass filtered to keep it sweet on some of the settings, a long delay time uses up the 1 bite memory pretty quick, do it becomes really crunchy low fi if you force it. The infinite delay times can get really wild without a twin pot quasi mix and feedback to tame it.
Not generally a fan of analog delays but man I want that Fernweh

That Jive pedal is awesome! You could do a whole lo-fi garage rock set with just that. Some nice Link Wray-esque tones in there.

Oh yes! This quarantine season made me desire crazy fuzz sounds. Even though I wont be using them for church haha!
it has a welding effect, when not sound, the grind of the tip as a flame stetches.
All of these sound like so much fun. I'll have to check them out!

Delay is lovely.. shame there isn't tap tempo and sub div.. it would be all I ever need for my delay sounds.
Their website contains verbosely chewy descriptions of myriad signal devastators. These folks are definitely in touch with some alternative realities. Lots of variations. Would like to see them package all of them together and call it The Orgasmatron.

I just got the Fernweh and the Tesla Wolf. Just. Great. I am enjoying myself so much.
These makes me want to get my old band mates back together to play some glitchy, fuzzy, Rocket from the Crypt covers in my garage.
I just ordered the Oceans 12 reverb, but I may need to put that modulated fuzz on my credit card and hope that I keep working through this whole thing.

Need to balance out some of the stale crap out there.
I had the O12 ,and returned it.It looked like fun, but just didn't respond well to other effects, especially when driven or fuzzy,- low headroom, they usually call it.Sounds fine clean.
I enjoy LoFi sounds, as well as vintage, but the digital processing on circuits like the EHX just seem to choke out all the nasty goodness.
Digital circuits usually need more expensive components, IMO.

@Mark Ferguson I hear you, when it comes to reverb and delay a lot of pedals especially the delays and cheaper ones sound like garbage, clipping in that unusable digital way, like fma static compared to lovely warm AM static. Often the better algorithms kn a pedal won't go fully wet.
I've bought a lot of delays and reverb over the years.
I finally bit the bullet and nought a Black Hole, it was a lot of cash, but it was a relatively small form factor, simple layout. Sent it back, it had twin functions for all the knobs by pressing a button. No screen but basically drop down menus. Too much effort to get a sweet sound. I'm going for an MXR 300. It takes TRS znd TS so stereo, an almost infinite decay znd a massive headroom to prevent clipping. Its a small pedal with minimum knobs. That's the reverb covered at least.

i have the Jive Reel sat and it's a nice always on front end warm gooey dollop of saturated saggy sound carpet. And priced appropriately.

Twiddle with the knobs tw tw twiddle with the knobs! That’s what should be done! Let you ears decide what the pedal does not you eyes! If I need directions for an amp, pedal or guitar I would return it and get something different. Yuppers

There weren’t any manuals in the boxes and I couldn’t immediately find them on the site. I think it was fun exploring the pedals without knowing anything. It was like solving a mystery.
That weirdo pedal sounds like that plasma pedal kinda sorta? Splitty, spluttery fuzzy madness for certain! I don’t know what I’d do with it but it’s definitely cool! Seems like a pedal that you would have to play with but I’m to busy playing guitar to play pedals. But that’s me...you all do you!

Haha, great demo. That super weirdo is awesome, but I have a feeling the guys I play with will not like me if I have that going. I actually liked all of these pedals. The delay was really sweet sounding and the akai one went from OD to distortion and into fuzz.
These pedals plus a drip and a shimmer = your shoegaze board. Also, I wanna hear if that fuzz will doom! I gotta get that fuzz. Thanks fir this demo Ryan.

Do not like these pedals. BUT I gotta tell you this is my favorite TH-cam channel right now. Love the surf and the punk stuff. It seems like the majority of TH-cam guitar channels are blues or metal oriented. I’m a punk guy first and surf second. Anyway loving the content.

My German heritage does not heart the super weird pedal at all. The Fernweh and Jive offer decent options though.
Not a fan of the crackling sound. Not sure if that is the right word... it almost sounded like it was so loud the audio was clipping.

Very fun pedals, and love the look. But the crackle when pressing the momentary button on the Fernweh is disappointing.
It isn't the switch when you press is it opens basicly a feedback path its the delays it self normale you won't tap it fast (you will only notice then)
@@JPTRFX thanks for taking the time to reply. At 16:42 there are several non-crackly applications of the button, before, as you say, its repeatedly pressed and crackles; but it was the single push at 21:34 which has a disturbing click/crackle that I was commenting on. If there's no way of engineering the click out, I'd still prefer to have the button than not, but it does restrict it to a more lo-fi feel.

@@60CycleHumcast All the crazy fuzz sounds are cake, usable special FX, etc, but the splatty, spluttery fuzz sounds are examples of some of the 1st incantations of stacking. you run that splat into distorted amp and magic can be possible.
