Thanks for doing a video of crossing both ways. I try to observe my route going anywhere new and your video definitely helped me understand what I was going to come across.
I thank you for the memories. t was a quiet day on the Highway that day. I went to Windsor from Detroit in 1960 to today. I would go through the Windsor Tunnel or the Ambassador Bridge and sometimes the Blue Water Bridge. Worked there from 68 to 2020. Thinks have changed a lot in those days with all the shops closing and industray going away. I have to return there in 2025 as I live in Guangzhou. How much is the toll on the bridge and the tunnel now? Had me a strip search exiting the tunnel on the US side. Including spreading my cheeks. That was back in 73. I had a brand new Grand Prix and I was wearing my Army field jacket as it had gotten colder. They took everything out of the car and left it there for me to put back, including seats and spare tire. Years later I was working in Juarez and drove by Black Suburban over the border. I got stopped by the Federal Police on numerous occasions. Seemed that was a favorite ride there.
Haven't been on that bridge in 60 years. We went from Detroit to the Canada side to a tourist place called Jungle Land, I believe. They had reptiles and gators.
I really wanted to see 20 minutes of "customs" and TSA bullshit, to know what to expect. sigh. The last time I drove over the border I got to watch my car get torn apart.

Glad it was helpful! 😊
did this trip around 1990, when we flew from the uk to visit family in windsor. They took us into Detroit.
Took that route for many years living in Windsor and working in Detroit. Happy I don’t have to do it anymore. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

On the Michigan side there isn’t a lot of warning for the bridge to Canada it just has one sign and it’s under a bridge it’s easily missed
Thanks so much. It's great to see video so have a visual!
