How is the viewfinder? Does it have any focusing aids on the screen like the later Pentax K cameras? I’m looking for a cheap, reliable, camera for a couple of m42 lenses. This looks good but I do want a good, bright viewfinder and easy focusing. I’m used to Oly OM and Leitz M film cameras.

The Asahi Pentax S1a with its stock 55mm 1:2 Super Takumar lens takes absolutely glorious images.
If you can acquire one I highly reccomend it.

The T is for clip on light meter, a pin engages into the slot
