I believe both the UK & Canada have tiny little militaries, think they're something like one tenth the size of the US military, that keeps other bigger counties from taken them over in a heartbeat.

people think getting booted from the military is a fast and easy thing, fact is... took 6 months for all the paper work to finalize. I was essentially the base handyman for that entire period. I did yardwork/landscaping, repainted the barracks, stripped and rewaxed all the office building, plumbing, etc. all the while getting paid my typical E3 paycheck the entire time. I got a bus ticket, my walking papers and close to 5 grand in my bank account by the time I was home.
6 months... damn you got expedited. Took me about 10 months all while getting E2 pay and being told I should've put in more effort into losing weight from E7s and E8s that were more overweight than me
@Shiirow that sounds like my story, except it only took 4 months. Mental health med board, but my performance and focus were so in the shitter that my Commander was breathing down the necks of the board to get it done ASAP, and a less flattering discharge type was waiting in the wings if that didn't go through. I ended up serving 4 years of a 6 month enlistment (there was a guaranteed promotion to E3 in 6 months if you took the 6 year option for certain hard to retain AFSCs [the AF equivalent to MOSs]).
I always listen to drama time while working on something else on the other monitor, so I know I sometimes miss some details, but I didn't notice any camera failures during this at all.
That contract reads like a contract that was written by somebody who has spent too much time on the FFXIV subreddit and read every single post about the reasons why a given static fell apart. (especially the "no fucking" part).
My guild has a loot document... but its literally just common sense written into words because a few times we had dickheads poke holes and cause drama simply because "its not stated anywhere" So it kind of just exists in the background just in case, those drama jerks got kicked later anyway :'D
