Great video, Laurel and Pierre! When you think about how most folks spend on an RV, vs. a car, it is shocking that such shoddy products are foisted on the public! Manufacturers have to know they have serious problems! If the "bottom line" is all they care about, it still doesn't make any sense - how long do you think you will survive building crap?! As in most endeavors in life, reputation is everything, hard to achieve, even harder to maintain! They really need to have a thorough final inspection before these behemoths ever leave the factory! Who is looking at these things, Elmer Fud?! Any dealer that refuses to allow a third-party inspector on the premises is a definite red flag to me!

This video hits exactly why an inspection is needed and how a good inspection works. I had 3 homes inspected by one inspector. At the first home he was so through finding things I never would have spotted. With a good inspector we finally found a home worth purchasing. Same goes with the Blue Ox team. They are inspecting for you, showing you what your maybe going to by, giving you knowledge. Great video.

I'll say it again, I don't know why finance companies don't require an inspection so the client does not walk away from a bad rig and stick it to the company. Yachts need surveys; Motorhome should also require the like. Keep up the good work.

IF dealers did a valid PDI, AND the manufacturer's built a quality product, there would be no need for an independent inspection. It won't happen until consumers stop buying crap. Until then, Blue Ox is the RV buyer's best friend.

A warranty is about as good as the paper they print it on, if the company has to repair multiple units, where and when are you getting in to get your unit repaired? Are you going to trust their service to repair, since the company couldn’t even build it right the first time? Who is going to pay for your waiting time? How many more times is it going to need to be repaired? How many more times can it be repaired?
So many questions to think about, the more I watch and learn the more I’m against spending all the money upfront, and ponder is it better to just piece mail a used unit that I know the substructure is 150% instead? So many things to consider since I first started watching these excellent professionals
We appreciate your insight and logical assessment of this industry. So many people are getting the run around and don't know how to defend themselves. That's where we like to come in.
Believe me should I ever get a unit, there is no way I’m buying without first having you or your various teams on my side

With Blue Ox inspection - you make the purchase and off you go to your travel dreams. Without Blue Ox inspection - you make the purchase and off you go and two days later you wonder why the floor in the bathroom is wet. You call back to your dealer and they set you an appointment for 2 and a half months in the future. You live with towels on the floor until then. You finally arrive at the shop and they can’t find your appointment in the schedule. They go ahead and ask you to leave your RV and they will “try” to get to it. A week later they look at it and find there will be parts needed, Those parts are out of stock and will be 2 months, etc, etc……

C 4 B O ,, i would make it very simple for just about any RV sales person . I would say my RV inspection team would be here in 2 days to inspect , for them to do their inspection they need water and power to hook up . If they say no , then I say the cash deal is off .
