That Hercules circular saw is fantastic. Slap an 8/12 amp hour battery on it and you’ll be golden; best base plate I have ever used. Also, NO GLOVES or loose clothing around high speed tools. If you HAVE to use gloves, use heavy cowhide or something that isn’t likely to snag. Seriously. Chainsaw safety gear is actually made TO snag and fray, and clog the saw instantly if possible to cause instant shutdown of the engine in a gas motor.. this won’t happen with electric. My dad was a Stihl dealer and I grew up around chainsaw repair and safety.
