I have a friend in Texas, he had honey bees, he sent me 2 blocks of bees wax, I've been using it with my cross stitch

It's coming along beautifully. Never been a fan of silk thread. At least over 40 years ago, it was not a good thread. It would keep breaking even with bees wax. You would have to keep very short lengths in order to stitch with it. I just kept to DMC cotton.

Have you never seen any stamped cross stitch completed?
When working with the silk floss, I use beeswax or Magic thread too. I also cut those long strands in half and then separate the threads and then run it through the beeswax. This works for me. I have this beautiful peacock kit with silk threads. 😍

I am in the US and have ordered several times from Aliexpress. I had a missing order from the beginning of January and finally got my refunds last week. They kept telling me to wait longer, but I kept asking for updates and after about 75 days I got my refunds. The package was lost at customs. (not sure theirs's or mine.) Hang in there.
