As a denim designer, I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world researching denim, shopping for denim, designing, developing, and visiting factories from small to large. After a few visits to Soorty DenimKind in Karachi Pakistan, I decided to create a series called "SEE YOU AT THE FACTORY"
This series about how jeans are made in Pakistan, at Soorty Denimkind. This series will take you through the steps of spinning cotton into yarn, indigo dyeing the yarn, weaving the indigo-dyed yarns into denim, cutting, sewing, washing, and packaging pairs of jeans to be shipped out to retailers all around the globe.
Filmed in spring and summer of 2022.
