I’ve noticed that I respond to your large paintings, where you are using the finger paint technique as opposed to smaller paintings with the same technique.maybe because the larger format offers more freedom and fits in nicely with the painting.

I love your passion for plein air and work= I am a senior - I paint en plein but the biggest I can do and carry all my stuff is 16 x 20 - I would love to figure out how to do big one and transport a big canvas in my truck - plus the weight of carrying everything is hard for me- but you inspire me - gonna go bigger now
I love your painting technique... you draw directly from the outside scene... I would like to see a painting video of you where you follow a photo or picture reference to understand what you are painting... Students can benefit from this.....

I think the finger painting has been a worthwhile experiment, but I dont think these works approach the skill, wonder, and beauty of your past paintings done with the brush.
@@turnervinson That's strange because the colors on the painting are already dried up and nobody can reuse them, while you still can resell unopened paint tubes.
@@morriszachrisson8359ahh, good point, I didn’t explain that very well. There’s a huge market for opened paint that has been sitting on a canvas for some time. It’s a weird black market thing.

I think this is one of my favourites that you have done, the textures and colours are great and the huge canvas lends itself to expressive strokes.
