+bigzack420 tc I trust...even Blue or Backstreet Boys (commercial stuff for teenagers) are awesome live and make a great music, but that's not the point! I meant...even this band make music for teen....I'm glad because this "teenagers and easy" stuff, maybe brings someone to know something different and this brings cultural enrichment for all because the culture is transmitted form person to person.

+Kappa Master I like "You stab me in the back, but not deep enough", it makes me think: you didn't kill me when you had the chance, you fucked up- now it's my turn. When I say 'typical' on the rest- I don't mean they suck- just nothing I haven't heard (a lot) before. "I see through you", "you've dug your grave and have no one but yourself to blame", etc. these are pretty common lyrics.

if you can show another song who has the same lyrics please show some proof. From any band I know these lyrics are not "typical" now run along now troll so we can enjoy our music.

Well, I pretty much already explained that it is more the overall feel, or gist, of the song that is typical. If one has listened to aggressive music (of any genre) for any length of time (and I have for quite a spell, probably longer than many fans of this band have been alive); that person has, almost certainly, heard: "I see through you...", "I hope you choke...", "I put you in your place...", "you said I'd never make it.." or thereabouts. Along with classics like: "I can't [insert bodily function here: see, breathe, feel, etc.]" and "Feels like I'm [dying, or a more dramatic form of, ie; drowning, suffocating, burning, et.al.]"
I will admit this though, kazacune. You have given me a chuckle. I have never been labeled a troll before. Correctly, or otherwise.

@@nathanmahoney6223 I agree partly, scripture says sin is creeping at your door waiting for any opportunity. But to say he sees the devil MORE than God to me sounds like it's on him. I can't relate to that at all, and it's a shame because this is a seriously sick band. New album is goated. But especially like Dethrone, the sacrilege just comes off and trying to be edgy and resulting in cringe. Which sucks because the music is incredible but the lyrics ruin it.
@@adamdaniels1368 very true but as someone who can relate to the lyrics particularly "I've seen the devil more than I've seen God" I see it in a different light so to speak. To see the devil more than you see God is not sacrilege, more so it is a type of suffering that many people go through. Sometimes the voice of God is drowned out in the despair we feel for whatever tragedies may strike upon us and having been to such low places myself just as many others have its easy for me to see the meaning behind such lyrics.

And it's not so much as the voice of God is being drowned out, it's you letting the enemy cloud his words and guidance, dont take that the wrong way tho. The best thing you can do is pray my man especially if ur going through a hard time 🙏👍

Man it is incredibly hard to not compare them to BMTH as someone who's listened to them for almost an entire decade before even coming across Bad Omens. And listening to them for the first time evokes the same emotions and mental response that BMTH did for me on first listens of their work. They're without a doubt beyond special and captures something truly exceptional for me.
I enjoy all eras of BMTH and I'm hoping that Bad Omens journey as they evolve their sound allows me to do the same because it's so wonderful to actually re-capture this feeling...

It's not that they couldn't. It's that they as people have grown up and matured and therefore evolved in their music as well. Music in general is forever changing, if it didn't then a lot of the great bands we love today wouldn't even exist. Makes you put things into perspective a little don't you think?

I recently had to make a second Spotify because I apparently reached the limit of songs you can save. I've been waiting for this band to come along ever since Noah first announced the solo project he was working on "Man VS Self" and this has completely blown me away. After 4 years. Bad Omens is 1st in my Top 5 artists according to Spotify(even for myself they are my first) . Glass Houses was their first song, first song i ever heard of them at the first day of it's release and it's still my favorite song 'till this day. I've seen them 362 days ago for the first time. And I've got my first, actual tattoo because of them. This band is everything.
