The bottom line for me Bryan is this just isn't the draft to go after needs unless it's Jeanty if available. The just isn't a great draft so if we go best player available then we will fill our needs and have a strong draft. I don't see On-line as a must early rounds of the draft. Let our guys develop with each other and we will see a much better group. Jeanty has the ability to make our on-line better
If you go back in R2 only 3 spots you can get a R4 pick. I'm all in on Simmons if the doc signs off on him. He is a beast LT and should be higher on the board than Jeanty, even though I really like Jeanty too, but there are more great RBs IF you get them in R2 and not wait any longer. DT in R3 and LB or WR in R4. Use a couple of the R5 picks to try and move back up into R4. Got to get creative in this draft since we don't always get this chance to pick this early but haven't seen the Cowboys get creative in decades...so we'll see!

Bravin-Ford really came on and looked good...issue with Ferg and Schoon seemed linked to injuries...Schoon never seems able to stay healthy but he did improve late.. Ferg was most disappointing - seemed like he lost confidence after his injuries. Big area for improvement needed is definitely consistency of blocking with our TEs whiffing on blocks way too much, and being reliable catching the ball through contact.
I think it would be really helpful for the RB discussions to know who the threats are to take the top three guys. Would like help illuminate trade back options and when a RB needs to be taken. I am only aware of bears and Broncos as a threat to take jeanty as of now baring a surprise

Id be all for them moving up to get Jeanty. I remember in 91 Emmitt Smith winning a rushing title behind an offensive line that gave up 11 sacks in a game. Jeanty is alot like Smith

Guys like Warren, Loveland, Mason, Arroyo, Fannin and Helm might be available where Cowboys pick in R1-R3. Might it really fit with a more run focused scheme where blocking and two TE sets might be used more? Not advocating it, but it's worth consideration depending on what the offensive philosophy and scheme is going to be. Personally love the idea of Jeanty R1 and Bech R2...Bech is a very good WR with elite hands, TE toughness, IQ and competitiveness...will add to the run and screen game with his blocking too.
Can't beleive how everyone is sleeping on RB Bhayshul Tuten. The guy is really well put together, 4.3 take it to the house speed, good ellusiveness and contact balance, runs tough, good pass catcher and has production to show for it all. If Cowboys don't take Jeanty, pair Tuten with a big power back like Hampton or Martinez and the run game is in good shape.
Our linebacker position is horrible. But instead if putting Parsons at linebacker we put him a DE. This is one of the reasons we haven't won in 30 years

Fannin Jr is going to be the steal of this draft. He is a tight end with receiver ability but can do everything required for the tight end position. A matchup nightmare. Stopping Lamb, Jeanty and Fannin Jr will be impossible and this will also allow one of our young receivers to breakout if we don't get better at receiver via the draft or free agency.
Based on the offensive coaching staff, looks like they're really going to run the ball in 2025, which is the only reasonable thing to do because of Dak's diminished running and passing skills. It also means that if RB Jeanty is there at 12, he's it.

Won't happen but would love to see us sign Trwy Smith, give one year to turn around both OT with adams hire and internally remove OL as a need from the draft board. Lunda Wells must be held in high regard. Feels like tight ends have underperformed as of late.
