Enjoyed your reaction! I get more James Bond theme music then Disney. Floor mentioned in the lead up to her solo album that after Beste Zangers when the opportunity presented itself to do some music on her own she struggled a little bit to find her sound. She didn't want to do something metal since she already gets to perform some of the best metal with Nightwish. Eventually she reconnected with a famous Dutch producer, Gordon Groothedde, who she worked with on After Forever's last album on the songs Energize Me and Envision. Checkout the music video for Energize Me and you will get a lot of the same vibes as her solo stuff. He helped her find her sound which she called pop music but for me it is so much better. I just call it Floor music. One of the things Floor enjoys about her solo stuff is writing music again. She wrote a lot of the lyrics for her first band After Forever and did all the song writing for her second band Revamp. Checkout Me Without You and Daydream, my two favorites from her solo album.

You have to check out an awesome project Floor had called Northward. Check out the song “While Love Died” and watch Floor go wild!!!!!
You truly need to watch Floor sing a bunch of songs from the German music variety type show, similar to Beset Zangers. None of it is available on TY for reasons, however, the episodes are on another platform similar to YT called "O d y s e e". some of her best performances are on that show.

Be sure to check out her work on Beste Sangers 2019, although the copyrights can be a bear. Try to find the versions with the intros and outros translated. It's what introduced her to the Dutch people and led to her having concert tours and this album.

You really need to check out Floor on Beste Zangers doing About Love I Don’t Know A Thing. Do the long version with English subtitles. You will cry like a little baby! On the other hand, if you want to see a blonde Floor screaming and growling like a maniac, check out her band ReVamp doing the song Disdain Live at Graspop 2010. You haven’t seen this side of Floor yet.
