The 3 women in video were representing the Ancient Greek mythology, the three women who controlled the threads of life were known as the Moirai or the Fates. The Moirai were sisters and were given different parents in various traditions including and Themis, Chronos, Ouranos, and Nyx. Clotho, “The Spinner,” spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. At the moment of birth, she created the thread of a person’s lifetime. Lachesis, “The Drawer of Lots,” measured each thread. Finally Atropos, “The Unturning,” cut each thread at the appointed length, setting the person’s death.
In Norse mythology, the Norns held a distinctive and consequential role. They were a trio of female supernatural beings entrusted with the vital task of weaving the destinies of all entities alive. The Norns are frequently seen as the Norse counterpart of the three Fates from Greek mythology The Norns were commonly represented as a triad of sisters who went by the names Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld. As the myth goes, these supernatural beings took residence at the Well of Urðr, alternatively known as the Well of Fate. This well was situated beneath the roots of Yggdrasil, the legendary world tree that interconnected the nine worlds as depicted in Norse mythology. Part of their daily ritual was to draw water from this well and bathe the roots of Yggdrasil, a vital act that maintained the tree's health and ensured its longevity. The Norns were credited with the formidable ability to shape the destinies of all beings, encompassing gods, humans, and giants. They were said to weave intricate threads of fate, with each sister representing different temporal states - Urd stood for the past, Verdandi symbolized the present, and Skuld was a representative of the future. The gods often sought their counsel, and the Norns were intricately linked to the notion of wyrd, the concept suggesting that fate was preordained and inescapable.
This is all well and good, but if you want to hear Marko at his best, you should check out Tarot, the band he founded with his brother Sakari in the 1980s, and basically pioneered Finnish metal. As for the songs, you can start with Wings of Darkness (1986 version), Stigmata (acoustic version) and Tides (live 2006). That way, you can follow their evolution.
Exit Eden are Clementine Delauney ( French) ,from Visions of Atlantis. Marina LaTorraca(Brazil) ,from Phantom Elite. Anna Brunner (German/American) from League of Distortion. Amanda Sommerville(American) formed the group in 2017. She left last year to focus on family, the other 3 decided to continue as a trio. Amanda has worked with EPICA, Alice Cooper, Avantasia, Kiske/Sommerville, and Trillium. The groups first original song ,and first from their 2nd album.
😂🤣😂 Over 50 doesn't mean U have to get your coffin ready mate.... Keanu Reeves is 59 ... and obviously me too over 50 We're still able to kick some asses and sometimes more fit than lot of younger ppl Pls don't judge book by cover 😜 Take care and keep yourself fit and safe 👍🤘🙏
Nice reaction. Also consider reacting to Wintersun: Land of Snow and Sorrow th-cam.com/video/gEBFn8tkdFA/w-d-xo.html It features a few faces that you might recognize if you're familiar with Nightwish's more recent lineup (Kai Hahto and Jukka Koskinen who replaced Marko in Nightwish.)
Not only that..... but he also sang in one of Delain's new songs: Invictus! th-cam.com/video/3J8VwHPRyN8/w-d-xo.html He has actually sung on quite a few songs from Delain over the years!
Not knowing any back story, my brain went in another direction. As follows: Adam soon realized that Eve was mild trouble compared to what awaited him outside the garden.
Hi Rosalie, I love your reactions. When I found the title of this song I've got a thought, you need to react to Ren - Eden. It's not a song but it's a message with a deep meaning. Everyone around the world needs to listen this.
For Exit Eden, the only one i really know well (since Amanda Somerville left) is Clementine Delauney. She is french and singer of the group "Visions of Atlantis" since 2013 (was an interesting year 🤔) For Marko, In the end that all fits into what i thought he would maybe do : Just participate in some projects, do some guest appearances here and there, but no looong tours anymore and have more time at home with the family. After all he is 59, like me, and i can totally understand that at that age you maybe don't have the energy anymore for all that stuff.
Check out Exit Eden and their cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart. That is how I was introduced to them. At that time, they were a foursome but the lead singer in that song has left to concentrate on raising her children. The 3 others are from different countries - Germany, France and Argentina, I believe.

Just the fact that Marko, in his late 50's is running across sand is impressive in itself.

That 1st lady singing is Clementine from Visions of Atlantis. You might want to check her band too
Fantastic visuals. Powerful vocals. I wonder if the colors have any significance.
Missed you Rosalie! Glad your back!🤘🎸The ladies represent the fates, they cut Marko’s thread of life at the end.🤘🎸
This is not Marko's project, he is only featuring on one song.
I think Clementine had to hold back some in this, not compared to Marko but to the others
I believe one of the ladies is the singer from visions of Atlantis
