The negative side of the first two modes not targetting is If Amy chose each mode once, targeting Nick's enchantment, and Nick then removes his own enchantment in response (such as with a Bargain card), Amy's entire spell will fizzle. No Cave, no +1/+1 counters. If wonder if WotC should have made the first mode target a player, solely to prevent this fringe kind of "feelsbad" moment.
Aww yeah, got this one bang on. I'm assuming the designers specifically intended this trick to be possible based on the order of the modes and the precise wording. We've seen this kind of situation on other cards before!
Small correction: An unordered SET could not have the same element / mode twice, so a PriorityQueue or an ordered List would be more correct. You would be right in the "choose one or more" case.
Would you be willing to break down why Kardur Doomscourge goads creatures brought onto the battlefield AFTER the ETB but Disrupt Decorum only goads creatures present at time of resolution?
Kardur adds a requirement to the player to attack with all creatures they can. Disrupt adds a requirement to the individual creatures that are on the field when it resolves.

Got this one right! Also, I love your little companion on the the shelf.
Used this on prerelease few times. Oh boy, that card did feel like total bomb.
If the mode said put 3 counters on target cave would it still work?
